Started from the bottom. Now we're at the biggest pop culture event in the world. Talking about digital collectibles. And a hill I will always die on, is that indie creator and the builder spririt on Solana is unmatched. I've been building for comics & art in this space for ~5 years now. It hasn't been easy. I'd failed w/ the first shot. Watched artists leave in droves and platforms wither. But still, so many mfers keep building towards a long term vision they have for what this space could unlock for them, for art, and for everyone, that it's impossible to bet against them. one. day. at. a. time.

It’s difficult not to feel like I let people down, like I failed, because at the core of it, that’s what happened. I tried really hard. I did what I thought was right and best for art on Solana. It just wasn’t enough. I’m sorry. It was an uphill battle from the start, gaining trust back, putting artists at the forefront of all our decisions, and rebuilding an identity and culture I felt was struggling. We did so much in such a short period of time and I can confidently say we provided more opportunities for artists than any other marketplace during our time. • Exhibitions • Grants • New Tools (Dynamic pricing and Exhibitions feature being two highlights) • Hiring a team of artists • Opening Solana’s only brick and mortar gallery and exhibiting Solana artists alongside some of the biggest names in the art world. (@cycol_gallery remains open with 2.0 coming this fall). • Partnering with Solana to make @exchgART the lead on all things art for Breakpoint, Accelerate, and all other @SolanaEvents. • Spaces team talking art, professional development, critique, and pop culture. • Writing Team with daily pieces on art, art history, culture, and EA artist profiles. • A dedication to art, artists, and collectors across the globe on @solana.
