@avataryaya_ I don't even care about balance. If you're going to have a fighting game, why wouldn't yoy invest in decent net coding. I understand that rollback proabably would have been difficult, but man...I've been spoiled by it

I strongly think Launch Sparking Zero "cooked" anime games & people's perception of them. Even those who enjoy them right now are very sour. MHAAJ outside of balance is one of the better anime games, with what people are asking for, but I keep seeing "uhhh I'm good after sparking zero." I'm not gonna even defend MHAAJ like that because they made a dumb mistake, not fixing it, is a pivotal issue for content purposes.

I was going to say i was disappointed on the Scouting set being a perspective NIN/VPR main BUT THEN I REMEMBERED GLAMOURS AREN'T LOCKED YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Part of me would LOVE to. But it frontloads the longer rpg games, not to mention graphical whiplash. But you know what. Maybe in my spare time...if I find it 🤣 ...man I'd still love to stream a month of AC in August or something

@DFPsheikh @TheTrueVanguard Oh I main destroyer so its not that bad but undeniably so… something is probably off if 80% of the solo playerbase uses just one shell

Marathon is stuck between a rock and a hard place. It's an incredibly good game, but the more casual audience seems to be avoiding it. But if they dumb the game down, it will be considerably worse and I'll likely stop playing it. It's basically a phenomenal game that doesn't appeal, I guess, to a wider audience. I'm not sure what exactly the solution is, maybe it's better strategic marketing and creative efforts to onboard new players. I'm not sure. But dumbing the game down would likely fix nothing. You might get new players to temporarily try it, but then they're playing a considerably less inspired game and will bounce off it. I also think the truly bizarre pre-launch hate campaign was SUPER weird. Like, gamers can be such strange people and I say that with peace and love. But I'm not sure I've ever seen a global predisposition to hate a game the way I saw it with Marathon. People were literally parroting the exact same sentences for months, almost like they had talking points and were collectively regurgitating them. Like the places where gamers hang out (YT, Reddit, Twitch, X, etc) had posts or something hating the game that circulated so much that people just latched onto them. I dunno. Either way, it didn't do the game any favors. I'm not sure what the best path forward is but good marketing and a positive outward image might help. And the vault wipes are definitely a good thing, that's totally necessary. But I think diluting the game to make it more palatable is the wrong play personally. Short term gain maybe, but over time will actually hurt retention I think.

@hellostal I think it's a neat idea to explore other characters, gives you a bit of a frame of reference if you remember what X character can do after Y attack. ...plus her Lvl 3/CA is pure cinema

i was stuck in here for an hour bc i decided it was a good idea to go straight to advanced, but we did this really cool flashy combo thing!! mai is not even my main, not sure why i committed..

and then i got stuff like this showing up on my feed and i realise that maybe I don't have to do Finger gymnastics and learn the super cool high execution stuff :'D

I don't think I'll comprehend the finger gymnastics people do in these tag games to make some of this possible. I can barely make Double down work

@TheHiddenOneAC @CloakyCrusader I forget Unity alot tbh 🤣I could never do the amazing Parkour stuff that people could do but I agree. I think given some refinements and additions. Unity is a good middle ground. (As fun as it is in AC1-3 - i never enjoyed how "easy" the game felt)

I still think it's pretty crazy we've seen so many collabs with AC through different games and franchises it's almost amazing in that aspect, some of them were actually pretty good! #assassinscreed
