12 years since the day the iconic Donetsk Airport suspended all air traffic due to an attack by Russian subversives, including Kadyrov’s goons send from Chechnya, and local armed collaborators.
Ukrainian national guards and special operations forces repelled the assault on that day, with severe losses for Russians.
That suspension felt only temporary back then… yet, 12 years on, the iconic Donetsk Airport, the symbol of Ukrainian military valor, is in lifeless ruins, and we, the sons and daughters of Ukrainian Donbas, are still waiting for a day a passenger aircraft lands again at our great Ukrainian airport.
