Paper-vs-physical gap may be widest in commodities. That’s why it’s a merchant trade, not an arb-desk trade.

- Wheat ladder (ZW/KE/MWE)

Take-or-pay.
Liquefaction toll is sunk. Spread can go negative and offtakers still lift.
Shutting a train down costs more than running it at a loss. Breaks the “don’t put on the trade” rule that works in paper markets.
