The dog that didn’t bark is fucking Satan
@JewishChron @davidfrum First, no sympathy because this is what Israel has been doing to Palestinian boys and men (and women). Second, is this really true or some story concocted by the Israeli man to garner sympathy? Beware of IDF propaganda and the Hasbra symphony..

Here’s how we’re positioned. (1/8) Trade: HH–TTF–JKM LNG arb with shipping. A 5+ leg synthetic that decides whether US cargoes route to Europe or Asia.

He’s getting hate but this is a correct argument, framing aside. We should also dramatically increase staffer pay. The current congressional staffer class is largely full of midwits on the Dem side and subhuman retards on the GOP side
Rep. Jack Kimble@RepJackKimble

Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.

If you agree with this, don't you have to think that Ivy League students are getting considerably better every year? Consider that a Princeton GPA that is right in the middle of the class today would have been Phi Beta Kappa (Top 10%) 40 years ago. Seems unlikely.

@souljagoyteller Strongly depends on how old you are + how much goy tomfoolery you’re ok dealing with, but U Street, AdMo and Dupont Circle have the liveliest nightlife. Would never go to Navy Yard as that is where chuddim go out.

@FilipinoCoffey @WarMonitor3 Three carrier groups in CENTCOM goes far beyond what you would need for ordinary deterrent purposes. That’s a “we want to run continuous air operations” setup.

I still believe renewed strikes are unlikely, the oil storage situation is what will decide if Iran takes 5 years or 30 years to rebuild and that will happen in 4-20 days even if they pull every last decommissioned tanker to store more oil. The US military build up imo is more a deturrent to Iran to not get any funny ideas in the mean time while they’re under the oil storage pressure clock.

There is clearly no diplomatic resolution at the moment between Iran and the US, renewed strikes seem the next logical strike...

@HoffProf @derektmuller It’s a vanity play. Firms are in an arms race to be perceived as the best and having a former Solicitor General signals to clients that the firm operates at the highest level everywhere. Funny to think about because they’re also now hiring 1Ls without proof of their firepower.

@biglawbro Do you have energy to do BL as a jr partner (some I know say is worse than being a sr associate financially) + discipline not to golden handcuff yourself? If so and you’re young I think grinding it out for 5 years to never worry about $$$ again is the call before jumping.

When I was in law school, I took an undergrad philosophy class just so I could say I did. The professor was an atheist (no biggie), and he spent the whole class arguing that the three main theories of rationality all compelled the conclusion that God did not exist. So for my final paper, which accounted for 100 percent of my grade, I argued that, properly applied, the three main theories of rationality compelled the conclusion that God did exist. I did not receive an A.
The Wall Street Journal@WSJ

Harvard’s faculty is set to vote on a proposal to cap the number of A’s per course, which now comprise more than half of undergraduate grades after years of inflation. Undergrads decry the move as "crude" and "absurd." Read more: 🔗 on.wsj.com/4dmqlol
