I’ve been seeing tweets floating around about phantom games appearing on people’s PlayStation profiles. Players are noticing games they never purchased showing up in their recently played. The games themselves are pretty random (sometimes even embarrassing) with titles like “Germany Quiz" or “Sex Shop Supermarket Simulator” popping up on people’s lists. So I thought I’d dig into it. @pushsquare has also written up a brief piece on this that I think serves as a good introduction so I’ll link it below. I’d recommend giving that a read first, then coming back to this thread. If you're too lazy to read, the main thing you need to know is that this isn’t a “hack.” It’s not an issue on the level of the account stealing that’s STILL happening on PSN. But it is a potentially serious data integrity issue for Sony that they should be pressured to fix ASAP so RTs and all that jazz are appreciated. And no, sadly you don't get free games out of it. If you do read this and don't understand any of the terms etc used I apologise, I tried to explain it as plainly as possible, use google and if that doesn't work feel free to ask! Anyway, on with the thread!🧵(look I did the emoji thing and everything)

TOY STORY 3 was released 16 years ago today. The ending where Andy gives his toys to Bonnie was inspired by Pixar employees watching their own children grow up and leave childhood behind, making the farewell as personal for the filmmakers.
