K9 Titan is in critical condition at the emergency veterinary center, fighting for his life after being seriously injured in the line of duty. Earlier this evening, Officer Mike Miller and Titan were deployed during an active search for a dangerous suspect. As trained and without hesitation, Titan placed himself between danger and his handler. In doing so, he sustained severe injuries during the apprehension. Officer Miller stabilized his partner on scene and carried him to the ambulance himself - refusing to leave his side. Titan is now in surgery. The next few hours are critical. Titan isn't just a "police dog." He's Mike's partner of four years. He's the dog who greets his kids at the door. He's family. He took the hit so an officer could go home tonight. Now we pray he gets to go home too. Please keep Titan, Officer Miller, and their family in your thoughts. Keep fighting, Titan. You're the best boy. 🙏
