Fed Up

@ConBGone

Wants to build our promising country's recognition of cost of over-valued, stolid Conservative leaders. Suffers from Pünchausen syndrome, a facetious disorder.

@ryangerritsen I don't care where Trudeau goes, or what he does. He is history, a history I wish to forget. What infuriates me is that we taxpayers continue to spend tens of millions of dollars a year on an RCMP security detail that travels the world with him and a celebrity entourage.

Trudeau is now in France, this guy endlessly lectured Canadians about their “carbon footprint” his Government took Canadians for billions of dollars with his carbon tax. These politicians are nothing more than virtue signaling hypocrites. I know this narcissist is being driven crazy by having to stand off behind Perry like a nobody.

@freeoneaglerock @wealthmoose That's for logged areas. My AI friend tells me, "The smoke choking U.S. cities is primarily coming from millions of hectares of wild, unmanaged northern boreal forest. These remote areas are completely untouched by the logging industry and have never seen a drop of glyphosate."

@wealthmoose Why don't we stop spraying our forests with glyphosate? If Canada didn't kill all the deciduous trees we would have natural deciduous fire breaks. What were left with is only conifers. Beyond disgusted!

@AZ_desertfox @MarkJCarney GoogleAI: Statista data shows Russia averages roughly 2.5 million hectares of annual tree cover loss from wildfires, compared to Canada's average of about 1.3 million hectares. During extreme years, independent satellite analyses indicate Russia's frequently surges past 7 to 10 m

Russia has more forests over more land than Canada. Yet, Canada has more forest fires and less control of them. Canada pays Canadian firefighters, and the US pays Canadian firefighters to help with our fires, but Canada blocks US firefighters from aiding Canada, and refuses to pay them, asking them to work for free.

@Lianne_Rood Great hire, lol. Did a great job in Killary campaign allowing her to lose to a guy who was never in politics. Went into election night with a 92% chance of victory and got smoked. Hope she HELPS Carney the same way.

Maia Johnson, Carney’s new hire, worked on Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in 2016. She is a registered Democrat and is now Canada’s first COO (Chief Operating Officer), giving her full control of the PMO. She is unelected. Who is she? Nobody in Canada knows who she is, except Mark Carney. The current Liberal government works under a cloud of secrecy, from shutting down committee work to firing the Parliamentary Budget Officer who blew the whistle on deficit spending. Carney’s tactics serve nobody but himself. #cdnpoli #carney #secrecy

@Lianne_Rood Where are all the Liberal supporters asking about her security clearance and concerns about foreign interference? Why does Carney need a COO, a position that, as I understand it, has not existed before. Is a large PMO office led by a master governor insufficient?

@Lianne_Rood Maia Johnson was given one of the highest ranking positions in Canada…this position had to be hastily created all of a sudden…why?… Mere DAYS later Trump exposed proof of election interference. As a high-ranking Canadian official, is she now exempt from prosecution?

She's unelected is hardly the important thing. Office managers aren't usually elected. The issue is she's not even Canadian. Is she a citizen? Did she pass a national security screening? How can a nonCanadian citizen with serious security concerns be handed a role created just for them, and not have this be a national security issue?

@walkerpj1 @Lianne_Rood @AlbertaEhOnline she's not going to be COO of the country -- just of the PM's Office (the PMO; just like there's An OLO - a Leader of the Opposition's Office). A glorified office manager. ANd her role for CLinton's campaign? Overseeing scheduling.

Canada is not a corporation, why do we need a COO… one very good reason, the person elected to the job cannot Wrangle his own cats and doesn’t stay in the country long enough to even try! This is a disgrace on every level! The fact he hired an American Democrat not a Canadian is just the icing on the cake of shame he has created!

‘Odyssey’ comes from the name Odysseus. The first known use of ‘odyssey’ as a generic term for “journey” was in Robert Louis Stevenson’s “Kidnapped” in 1886.

@Itisabadword @acoyne your tacit position was that sub-dividing the operational authority over an important function among the states or provinces (has the USA has w/ elxns & we have w/ fires disqualifies it from being an actual country. If so, the USA fails that test by Trump's own lights.
