PRESS STATEMENT: LIBERALIZE GUN RIGHTS, EXPOSE AND PROSECUTE TERRORIST FINANCIERS AND PROMOTERS, SAY NO TO US INVASION Even as President Donald Trump’s administration is threatening war against violent Islamist extremists in Nigeria, the country continues to lose more lives to the satanic advance of ethnoreligious terrorists and expansionists. The value of human life in Nigeria is lost daily to the sea of statistics on the gruesomely killed. 2. Nigerians must reject the elitist propaganda and blackmail to rationalize the continuous massacre of tens of thousands of peace-loving families and individuals under the guise of false patriotism. Nothing about these persistent terroristic onslaughts is normal nor acceptable. 3. The Nigerian Armed Forces, despite their best efforts, have proved incapable of beating this fundamentally homegrown threat to the Nigerian State and People, and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces is now a worthless title unceremoniously borne by the Nigerian President under the All Progressives Congress. 4. The overwhelming majority of communities that have repeatedly suffered these attacks are Christian, animist, and other non-Muslim communities. Nonetheless, external invasion under any guise, whether by the United States or any other Great Power, is not in the interest of ordinary Nigerians and the African continent. 5. Nigerian lawmakers must now swiftly pass the self-defense and firearms ownership regulation Bill, formally known as the Bill for an Act to Alter the Firearms Act (As Altered) to Provide for Self Defense and Personal Firearm Ownership and for Related Matters, sponsored by Senator Ned Nwoko, a Muslim lawmaker representing Delta North Senatorial District. The liberalization of gun rights in Nigeria will empower vulnerable communities and individuals to defend themselves against terrorists and petty criminals. 6. Both Houses of the National Assembly must urgently form a Joint Committee on Internal Security and Terrorist Enablers, with the sole purpose of exposing and fully prosecuting financiers and promoters of terrorism in Nigeria. Characters like Sheikh Ahmad Gumi and his associates must be interrogated and made to account for their abnormal public statements and energetic support of terrorists massacring innocent Nigerians in the name of their religion and ethnicity. 7. Sovereignty is a responsibility, and the Nigerian political class must act swiftly and dutifully to protect Nigeria’s before what is left of the country is shattered by self-interested Western powers. This family deserves justice, and we pray they get it. A chilling story of how some fake pastors murdered an Igbo trader in Cross River State and a corrupt judge granted bail to the perpetrators on health grounds, but they have since returned to the pulpit to preach. @PoliceNG, over to you.

We condemn the illegal arrest of Mr. @sowore Omoyele Sowore by Nigeria's security services and demand his immediate release. We equally condemn the arrests of peaceful #FreeNnamdiKanu protesters, including one of Mr. Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyers, Alloy Ejimakor and his brother, Emmanuel Kanu. We demand their immediate and unconditional release. We say no to the unchecked assault on Nigerian democracy under the Tinubu regime and urge Nigerians to speak up for those who are fighting to maintain some sanity in our society. We also use this opportunity to restate our commitment to the immediate release of Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, who, due to his persecution by the Nigerian state and judiciary, has now taken on the onerous task of defending himself, like Ken Saro-Wiwa before him. The Nigerian state must take care not to repeat the tragic events of history by continuing the persecution of Mr. Nnamdi Kanu. The Tinubu regime must focus on the business of governance, which it is currently doing woefully despite forcing itself on the Nigerian people. Na so. Did Sowore stop you from protesting? Are you aware that Yemi Adamolekun was stopped and harassed today for taking a flower to the tollgate? Why didn’t you join her? Or is Sowore the sole organiser of protests? Even in Sowore protests, you’ll find anti protesters doing their own on one side. Nobody get monopoly for protests, put your chest there. When Sowore was protesting for EndSARS, you guys were selling the same story of him wanting to hijack the protest. You berated him for his ‘’beret’’. Yet he continued even after the protests. Are you not tired of excuses and theories? Isn’t it interesting that you are attacking Sowore for lending his voice for the release of Kanu? Just to let you know or remind you that Kanu also called for the release of Sowore when Sowore was detained over 5 months by the Nigerian government. So, not out of place that Sowore is doing same for him. Even if Sowore didn’t have prior relationship with NK, he would have done so without hesitation, in his usual manner of speaking up against injustice. This minute Sowore is irrelevant , the next minute he is CIA agent . I understand activists have to face different allegations .At least ,if you are not facing BBL allegations, you are facing CIA allegation because of what’s ‘’behind ‘’ them. In another one hour ,’’Sowore is working for APC’’. Does he need your permission to work for APC if he chooses to? Are there not people working openly for APC that you know? What have you done about them? The likes of Malami SAN frustrated the ENDSARS movement when they were in government, are they not back to patronising people? You have never seen Sowore in open/closed door with APC nor fire exit with them but you keep carrying same story as a coping tool for your docility. ‘’Sowore is doing it for clout’’, E bad if you sef organise protests for clout? Make the best protester win one carton of cabin biscuit? Yes, criticise Sowore’s methods but you can’t match his resilience and courage to speaking truth to power and injustice.
KWEKU THE HUSTLER@Urchilla01

Yele Sowore's brief today is to attempt to rewrite the meaning of the 20th of October in Nigerian history; to taint it with something that divides opinion down south and make sure that it never in the future becomes a rallying point for any uprising. It is one of the first steps towards erasing any form of pushback to a BAT presidency beyond 2nd term

On 12 October 2020, then governor of Rivers state Mr. Nyesom Wike threatened #EndSARS protesters and arbitrarily announced ban on protests. His threats were ignored and failed to undermine the protests:

#EndSARSCandleLight: Light a candle in honour of EndSARS Martyrs   We join every Nigerian of conscience in remembering our fallen brothers and sisters who were forcibly sent to their untimely deaths by the Nigerian security forces and hired thugs across Nigeria during and after the 2020 EndSARS Protests. Our countrywomen and men died not only to end police brutality and reform the Nigerian police but also in the hope that Nigeria would become a country where politicians care deeply about the people and show as much in their policies and actions.   We have had five years to reflect on the 2020 EndSARS protests and remember the pain and trauma that the Nigerian State under Buhari’s regime inflicted on all of us. In that period, our cruel and visionless rulers have not stopped persecuting and punishing Nigerians, and police brutality in our country has only gotten worse. However, we owe a duty to our comrades who were wickedly killed during #EndSARS to continue to honour their courage and sacrifice.   To this end, we urge Nigerians everywhere in the world to light a candle within their homes or at any other location of their choosing in honour of our fallen brothers and sisters for at least an hour, starting at 8:00 p.m. (Nigerian time) today, October 20, 2025. This symbolic action, we believe, is a way of upholding our collective responsibility to preserve the significance of October 20 and remember the fatal sacrifice of the EndSARS martyrs in 2020, not just in Lekki, but everywhere else in Nigeria.   We can use the hashtag #EndSARSCandleLight when sharing our pictures online.   We wish our fallen sisters and brothers eternal peace.   In Solidarity - Concerned Nigerians

The policies are slightly cruel and the mission is vague. It’s now becoming a disaster for a common man. We really need to wake up from our unnecessary nap.

It’s quite ironic and shameful to see that those whose part of their primary duties is to protect rights and freedom of citizens are the ones violating them. The #NigerianPolice have so far acted with no care or heed for the consequence of their outrageous acts. This has to stop!

1. On 1 Oct. 2008, police officers of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad shot Modebayo Awosika in the head and then set his car on fire. 2. An autopsy showed that he had died of a gunshot. But police told the coroner that Modebayo Awosika’s car hit the police patrol vehicle.

This is the model they have always promoted. Little did they know that uncouth act of thuggery and empty threats will not stop the design of Providence. What will be will be. The candidate of the people will emerge. Be you never so high, the law is above you— Lord Denning, MR.

I first met Ariyo at the ‘March For our Troops’ program late 2014 and he immediately struck me as a good man. Unfortunately, the good almost always never stay around for so long… Continue to rest in peace, brother #AriyoServiceofSongs
