"I think Lord Hermer would start saying 'what about his human rights'?"
@Jacob_Rees_Mogg thinks we need to deal with Human Rights Act and our membership of the ECHR to deal with the deportation of people like Shabir Ahmed.

@andyburnham We've seen your 'new way of doing things'... it's called autocratic leadership with no space for challenge.
Can you not see how bad this looks?
English

@POLITICOEurope How? We're all getting pretty fed up with empty promises.

"Report paid for by the Duke..."
Let's get this into perspective - any good analyst can spin a set of circumstances to create a 'threat' to secure resourcing. When they are being paid to do so, the incentive is there to give the client what he wants.
Many, many people live with risk every day. Even everyday veterans and armed forces personnel live with a risk from extremists. Lee Rigby's murder is a sad example of that.
What veterans don't usually do - because it's bad form - is boast about how many insurgents they've killed while on operations... and do it publicly... in a book.
If Harry had genuine concerns, he would be living a low-key life. But, instead, he lives in Cali, creates drama in NY, gets a Sussex Squaddie member to stalk him, visits Nigeria, Colombia, and Ukraine... but somehow the UK has a higher threat rating than all that self-imposed risk?
Given his love of victimhood, I see another staged and exaggerated 'car chase' in Harry's near future.

Prince Harry’s private security firm suddenly ‘uncovers’ 6 terror plots against him (5 in UK) right before his trip—yet he toured Nigeria (high-risk terrorism zone), Canada, and roamed the US recklessly with no issues. Visited UK multiple times incident-free. Now leaking this to pressure RAVEC for taxpayer-funded cops? Blackmail much? Spare us the drama. 🇬🇧

Catherine is the Royal Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
Earlier, she met staff and ball girls and boys and is now a visible presence which promotes the tournament... she's even sitting in one of the new outside courts to raise awareness.
I think that counts as 'working', don't you?

Um, why not take some self-responsibility?
A lot of these shows now are a race to see who can debase themselves the most to secure the highest vote count.
So, flashing flesh, acting like muppets... no wonder the general public might see you in a certain way.
Stop whining and start looking closer to home for the cause of your troubles.

"Report paid for by Duke...".
If there really were credible threats, he should stay away from publicly announcing them and definitely not share his schedules and perceived vulnerabilities.
Many, many people live with risk every day. Even everyday veterans and armed forces personnel live with a risk from extremists. Lee Rigby's murder is a sad example of that.
As to the report, let's get this into perspective - any good analyst can spin a set of circumstances to create a 'threat' to secure resourcing. When they are being paid to do so, the incentive is there to give the client what he wants.

I spent a lot of my career being called sweetheart, dealing with the 'milk and two sugars, love' assumptions, avoiding arse slaps, drunken kisses, etc., while seeing colleagues talk to my chesticles instead of my face. Here's my take: if you're an officer, you need to have the resilience to deal with that behaviour.
No, that bahaviour is not acceptable - ever - but how can the public have confidence in its officers if they don't have the ability to handle themselves?

This is like a comedy episode of an old Carry On movie.
One wet lettuce mumbling that she's not in charge of flags, but will go and find out. Really? Just make a decision. The bureaucracy is off the charts.
It's a NATIONAL flag that could be flown over the capital city... what on earth is the problem with that? Why does it even need a policy?
The national flag should be flown from every public building to instil a feeling of national pride.
Oh, and can I just remind everyone that this is a TAXPAYER FUNDED administration that can't make a simple decision - goodness only knows how much that meeting cost to run.

Look at all those members of the public just wandering by on the other side of that thin screen.
Look at her walking around and sitting among the masses... yet Harry can't visit the UK and stay in a royal residence behind gates protected by armed guards.
His delusions and sense of entitlement are extraordinary.

Regardless of the clothing, I judge a faith by the way that faith judges and treats others.
A faith that subjugates women, believes it's OK to abuse non-believers, sees stonings and beheading as great punishment tools and generally believes it's their way or no way... well, why wouldn't I judge that?
