Yes, the Castro regime has monuments to the heroes of the Congo wars... Castro Regime has only spent money in wars, that is why they never upgraded or fixed the electric grid, the sewers, pipes, train tracks, etc.

All the wars people on this chat have mentioned, were organized, trained, and paid for by the Cuban government. Castro's dream was a whole continent control. Venezuela was one of the first efforts in 1967

@McClarey2 @DrewPavlou Yes, Cuba mercenaries are in Ukraine. These wars that people are mentioning were Castro's trained soldiers,weapons and money. That is why our little island of 6 million has had no money to modernize the electric grid. All our riches went to wars in Latin America & Africa.

@DrewPavlou There's a strong argument that Cuba was the most militant member of the Soviet sphere. If there was a civil war, chances are Cubans would be deployed to participate in it. I'm amazed by how little these people know.

Cuban troops fought in Angola for 25 years. Cuban troops played a major, long-term combat role in Angola, with over 30,000 soldiers present at the peak of their intervention, supporting the MPLA government against UNITA and South African forces. Starting in 1975, this large-scale military operation—known as Operation Carlota—lasted for over a quarter of a century.

@DrewPavlou How about Bolivia? . The Che Guevara was killed there? How about Hati? , Dominican? the list goes on. Cuban soldiers fought in Vietnam with the Vietcong, and were the ones in charge of interrogating the prisoners. USA soldiers do remember their torturers.

Yes, Cuba went to invade Vnzla with some of the Communist insurrectionists there. One of them was Americo Martin, who later became a journalist and was the biggest critic of Hugo Chavez. Cuba has aided and directly participated guerrilla incursions in Bolivia, Haiti, and more.
