I will forever stand by the idea of DeSantis taking the AG position if offered. Even if the administration is a dud. National relevance matters. Influence matters. Name recognition matters and more and most importantly actual results from the Justice Department matters. This could be the last chance to prevent a Vance coronation and allow some competition to finally form amongst the ranks. This all matters because yes the governor would be fantastic for the job and would be a glaring and obvious improvement over Bondi and would stand out amongst his peers. This nation is reeling. Searching desperately for a voice of reason. Where better for that to come from than the halls of the justice department. It’s time. Let’s get it done.

Hand Governor DeSantis the keys to the Attorney General's office and then just watch the magic happen. If you think for one second that as his eyes rest on the Oval the Florida governor wouldn't be the most active AG of the last two decades, then you must be a democrat.

In favor of what? Terming out and falling off the stage completely. If that’s the case the day after the Governors race in Florida he needs to announce his candidacy. Relevancy in national politics is like your paycheck. You hold it onto it as long as you can but unless you continue to work you’re going to run out. All I’m saying is I would take the call. That’s all. Just take the call.
