@pendleposy As a 'Brit' it is extraordinary to me that Australia has apparently become such an authoritarian state.

The Supreme Court of NSW has ordered @KirralieS to pin this post to all her social media accounts. I'm pinning it to mine to highlight the Authoritarian dictates being forced on Australian women by the State. We are being ordered to lie under threat of serious and debilitating court ordered punishment and financial penalty. For calling men 'Men'. The State is trying to force us to lie. It is compelling our speech so we will adopt and spread an Official State Belief. I will not comply. PUBLISHED BY ORDER OF THE LOCAL COURT OF NSW AS VARIED BY THE SUPREME COURT OF NSW Following proceedings in the Local Court of NSW (2024/78280) the Local Court of NSW has declared that Kirralie Smith and Binary Australia contravened section 38S of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1997 (NSW) by making and publishing various social media posts between 19 January 2023 and 27 March 2023 and a newsletter dated 19 January 2023 that incited hatred towards, serious contempt for, or severe ridicule of a soccer player on the ground that she is a transgender person. Public acts that incite hatred towards, serious contempt for, or severe ridicule of, a person or group of persons on the ground that the person or group are transgender are unlawful under the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW). The Local Court of NSW has ordered Kirralie Smith and Binary Australia to pay damages to the soccer player, and to remove the offending posts and to not repeat or continue the offending behaviour. theothercheek.com.au

@Madeinavalon @LolsysL @speakoutsister Do you think she realises the 'argument' she's making, IE for 'solid' boundaries, is actually one *for*: restrictions of civil liberties physicial and/or 'paid for' barriers 'everywhere', which might restrict freedom of access, esp. for disabled people 'toilet police' etc

@LolsysL @CondorInCrisis @speakoutsister Why were you embarrassed? If there was no boundary it should feel no different to you than walking into the Ladies. But you knew you had crossed a boundary you shouldn’t have, and there could be repercussions. A feeling so strong, you still remember each violation clearly.

Do you lock your doors when you leave the house? Or just put up a sign saying no burglars? Maybe you can explain how a "ladies only" sign deters criminals?

@BertDalziel ...experienced this with 'Rave' culture, and elements of the Criminal Justice Bill that followed (obvs this was 'local' UK scale, nothing like 'trans', which is an online phenomenon) &" yet they are still stuck at / back to 'dEfiNe ChAiR' (2018) which ofc will get them nowhere

@BertDalziel I did try to explain to the 'trans' 'community' that when a (sub)culture, anywhere, responds to being told 'No' with "Fuck You, you can't / try and stop us" the consequence is increasing discipline, esp. as public opinion then increasingly swings against you My generation (X) ⬇️

I suppose if anyone within the political and media class was able to reflect on their own role in suppressing debate, demonising the women who wanted to have it and the resulting chaos and yes, toxicity, then they wouldn’t have their job, still, would they?
Belfast Telegraph@BelTel

I’ve thought long and hard about commenting on the controversy over the cancellation of the Women’s Rights Network event at Féile an Phobail — it is a debate that attracts the most toxic elements, writes Allison Morris 🖋️ tinyurl.com/bdhmtsju

@LucyHunterB @BertDalziel It's possible species of grass or whatever have come in, become over dominant. So they might even treat or dig out the grass and start again with a fresh wildflower sow Or alternating use, good for the soil trossachs farmers sometimes annually rotate dairy cows with crops

@LolsysL @Madeinavalon @speakoutsister Do they? They shouldn't be. Men, male persons, equally with Women, Female persons, have the (Human) right to dignity & privacy -btw, (don't) try this in parts of USA - or other parts of the world. The proprietors might remove Women who do this; they might be breaking the law

@CondorInCrisis @Madeinavalon @speakoutsister A toilet sign on a door, is not a boundary. It is a SIGN, telling us who can go in and not. I have walked into the mens at least three times in my life, and I remember them all, because I was so embarrassed about it. Toilets signs are not a boundary. Anyone can go into them.

@LolsysL @Madeinavalon @speakoutsister You don't like the answer. The answer you want, & only one you would accept is: "trans people must be allowed to do whatever they want, go wherever, and whenever they want" Society is not going to give you that answer (Public opinion is *increasingly* against 'trans' demands)

@LolsysL @speakoutsister And the stories about the people you call "gender non-conforming people", a.k.a. people - including women, female people, supposedly, being challenged in toilets Are just that, Stories - so-called 'TQIA+' political tactics, propagated for political ends Few believe them at all.

Yes, because if you want to get into a woman's toilet, you'd definitely undergo a formal process of gender reassignment first.. as opposed to just walking in or getting a job as a cleaner. Entirely rational to think that's why people transition!
Condor@CondorInCrisis

@speakoutsister 1. It doesn't BUT Workplace Regs 92 are in force 2. Employers EG civil service want to outlaw 'deliberate' M/G'ing, what tha means will be thrashed out via ETs & litigations 3. Yes, if males are undergoing GR for the purpose of using Female designated facilities, they can't ⬇️

@potatelyn @speakoutsister I speak in plain, clear, straightforward English. I don't speak in the meaningless, postmodern, psychobabble, gobbledgook gibberish that the promoters of the 'trans' subculture and politics employ, which deliberately, disingenuously attempts to confuse, frustrate and obfuscate

@LolsysL @Madeinavalon @speakoutsister I comprehend the question perfectly. It's only you and your political project and subculture that Pretend To Not Understand the straightforward answer. Or, at worst, you genuinely don't understand, and you shouldn't be allowed outside w/o a responsible adult supervising you.
