Abortion is murder (as you clearly demonstrate). Covenantal status of that particular law doesn't invalidate the equitable application of the 6th commandment and the lex talionis.

No. The idea that abortion is murder doesn't come from the Bible. It comes from The Didache. The only time the Bible mentions an unborn child dying is when it prescribes death for causing a man causing a woman to have an unwanted miscarriage in the Old Testament a law that is then nullified by Paul in Galatians 3.

My biggest obstacle to embracing confessionalism was an inability to see how I conflated Scriptural authority with personal interpretation—“the Bible says” with “[I say] the Bible says.” But now I can’t unsee it. I was softly skeptical of confessional-ISM for many years, assuming it threatened Scriptural authority by raising creeds and confessions to the level of Scripture. But what it really threatened was my (assumed) personal authority by which I (unwittingly) raised my own interpretations to the level of Scripture.

Stephen Charnock absolutely destroyed the modern “God looked through time to see who would choose Him” theory centuries ago.
“If God’s knowledge of the creatures depended upon the creatures, he would derive an excellency from them… he would not be sufficient of himself but be under an indigence…”
In other words, If God “learns” future choices by observing autonomous creatures, then creatures become contributors to the divine intellect.
The creature informs the Creator. The finite supplies the infinite.
That is not the God of Scripture.
“Known unto God are all his works from eternity.” (Acts 15:18)
