Also apologies for slow/late news as I’m currently on holiday, will be back to normal soon. Of course as soon as I stepped on the plane Delcy decided to remove Padrino and start the biggest military shakeup in decades…

This is a significant shakeup for the military, that was not necessarily pro Delcy or pro Diosdado after Maduros removal. Changes this significant can have unintended consequences though when those in the positions of power had held them for so long.

(Reuters) - The Trump administration intends to take additional steps to ease sanctions on Venezuela's oil sector in an effort to increase crude production amid the ongoing Iran war, Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the plan. The moves, which could be announced as early as this week, include issuing more individual licenses allowing foreign companies to work in Venezuela without violating US sanctions, the report said

Ukraine is developing its own four-component air defense system modeled on but distinct from Israel's Iron Dome, Air Force Deputy Commander Pavlo Yelizarov announced. Full coverage with expensive missiles such as Patriot or IRIS-T is physically and economically impossible given Ukraine's scale, he said.
