To get a banger tweet all you gotta do is tweet about wasians or Mexicans I’m being so real

Normally I consider debates about ideological taxonomy pointless, but the left in America is undergoing a major transformation right now and we really need a name for the new thing. “Wokeness” is totally inadequate. “Third Worldism” is better but still imperfect.

I heard many Cubans say they are afraid to express legitimate grievances about their government (which people have in any healthy democracy!) because their words will be used by the US to justify the blockade and regime change. The biggest threat to Cuban democracy IS the US!

Billionaire Marc Andreessen says he has "zero" introspection, and that the idea itself is a modern invention.

I am asking you to imagine how a civilian population of over 10 million people can survive without any access to imported energy for three whole months. In Cuba, the United States is committing the most barbaric war crimes known to man — and Washington simply shrugs it off.

🇨🇺 Cuba hits record 900 MW solar generation after rapid expansion with China. Cuba has announced a new milestone in solar power, generating over 900 MW of electricity from photovoltaic energy in a single midday period. Just a day earlier, the country had already surpassed 800 MW, marking a rapid increase in solar output. The record comes as Cuba accelerates its solar deployment with support from China, aiming to strengthen its energy independence and reduce pressure on its power grid. Officials say expanding solar generation is a key step toward improving electricity reliability and boosting national energy sovereignty.

You could put a person in charge of every block in Manhattan (~2800 blocks) at $35/hr, 8h/day, 365 days/year. It'd cost about $250M/year, or 0.2% of the city's annual budget. Imagine how much cleaner and safer NYC would be
