Btw, Sunday wasn't Brian Brobbey's first escape this season. This tackle below happened less than 2 hours after Romero was sent off for the same thing on Casemiro. He is making a habit of it because the referees are allowing it.

Sunderland defender is the last man, he steps on Udogie and has his arm on his throat. However; whilst denied him a goal scoring opportunity, the ref did not a foul, nor did VAR intervene. I assume they were making a cup of tea or having a nap.

Today I have come to terms with the fact that Sunderland will finish above Newcastle for the first time in 10 years. I have just watched the highlights of their win over spurs and it’s clear that they cheated and Brobbey should have been sent off. But newly promoted sides do need that extra bit of luck. Next season is the real test for them #HWTL
