@HMRCcustomers as a self assessment tax payer, how do I claim pension tax relief for earlier tax years? the online function only seems to work for after the 2023/24 tax year.

@AerLingus Hello, I'm on a connecting flight through Dublin from Boston to LHR today. I've just checked in but the website is only giving me my boarding pass for the Boston to Dublin flight. How do I get the boarding pass for the Dublin to LHR leg please?

@HMRCcustomers Hi, I applied for child benefit for 2 kids. I received a letter in the post referencing 1 kid for benefits. Could you let me know what is happening with the 2nd? I called, spoke to an automated voice, which ended the call saying there were no available agents.

@HMRCcustomers Hi Sofia - is this not me contacting HMRC via twitter? If you read up the thread you will see that I have called HMRC but with no success (I was on hold for 30 mins and then was hung up on before I could even speak).

@ConorWalsh12 Apologies your tweet was missed. If the request is not processed before the deadline you may be charged a penalty, however if you don't need to file you can contact HMRC directly to close the record - this will cancel any penalties. Sofia

@HMRCcustomers on hold for 30 mins and the rep hung up before I even had a chance to speak. I need to be removed from self-assessent. I applied to be removed in November but I've yet to hear back despite being told I would normally receive a reply within 15 working days.

@HMRCcustomers Hi Martin, I'm reluctant to fill out a self assessment if it is not necessary and phoning HMRC isn't a real option given past experience. Will I be fined if I don't complete the self assessment by Jan 31st if HMRC are not able to come back to me in time?
