Whether anyone believe its justified or not, Zelensky did very clearly threaten Orbán. "We hope that one person in the European Union will not block €90 billion, or the first tranche of the €90 billion, and that Ukrainian soldiers will have weapons. Otherwise, we will give the address of this person to our armed forces, our guys. Let them call him and talk to him in their own language." youtu.be/yBGnfeg__ec?is…

There's a contractor at my house today and he's driving an EV. Dude parks at the end of my driveway and runs an extension cord from an external outlet on my house and he's been charging his car this whole time. Am I wrong that this is bothering me?

@Kuen_owo @ynkbts @Ziya_Meral The point is, we don't stick our heads in the sand and defend our "glorious" past. YOU do. It takes some nerve for Turkey to lecture israel given that you're occupying Cyprus to this day, lol . Hamas started this. Israel will finish it.

It's astonishing that you, a world leader who many respected for standing up to an illegal attack on your country, now support an illegal attack on another country. It completely kills your credibility. Right now. Iran is Ukraine. You may not like to hear that but that is a fact
Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський@ZelenskyyUa

It is unfortunate that the UN Security Council has once again failed to demonstrate effectiveness and act decisively in the face of such a global threat as the Iranian regime's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. No one should be allowed to block such globally significant sea lanes or undermine the security of dozens of nations through terrorist attacks against the freedom of navigation. We faced a similar challenge in the Black Sea when the Russians attempted to block our ports and civilian shipping—Russia was trying to suffocate our economy. And we found a way to solve that problem through decisive action, not inaction. Now, we see a similar problem on a global scale. The Strait of Hormuz must remain open to all vessels that sustain vital economy lifelines and maintain normal international trade. Countries in the region have spoken clearly on this, and we support the aspirations of the people of the Middle East and the Gulf for peace. Peace and security in this region directly impact stability, market predictability, and the cost of living in every single country. Such problems and this war must not be prolonged. The world needs a functional UNSC that acts more decisively to resolve acute security challenges of global magnitude.

@ei20203 @cemk_cemil bitch, just stop. Hungary was always the net beneficiary, and the shift to "net contributor" in 2026 is because the EU froze $22B in funding 😂😂😂

@Constance6968 @cemk_cemil Btw that sweet German cash is a myth. When you add everything up, lost customs, markets, work force etc. Eastern Europe is a net contributor. Actually Hungary is a net contributor even in the strictest sense as a large part of our funds from the EU budget are frozen.

#NATO propagandists try to convince Russia and the whole world that members of the Alliance allegedly never promised to the USSR not to move eastward. They are lying. Promises were made but were never implemented. NATO isn’t credible.
Chay Bowes@BowesChay

36 years ago the Berlin Wall began to come down. 5 years later, Jack Matlock, US Ambassador to the Soviets 1987-1991 revealed the promises made to the Soviets for allowing a Unified Germany to join NATO unhindered. They were lied to, and here we are.

Credit where it is due — the President, through his outlandish tweets that absolutely are beneath the dignity of the Leader of the Free World, has a two-week ceasefire with Iran. Now, Iran has two weeks to get weapons and supplies from Russia and China, put in some anti-aircraft batteries, and prepare for round two.

Here is a list of fees the city of Portland has either adopted or proposed within the last year: 1) A roughly 50% increase in parking fees, including extending metered hours from 7 PM to 10 PM. The proposal also adds a per-transaction surcharge—referred to as a “Climate and Equitable Mobility Fee”—of $0.20 when using parking apps. 2) A proposed Transportation Utility Fee, which could add approximately $150 per year for homeowners, aimed at addressing the deteriorating condition of Portland’s streets. 3) Increases to Temporary Street Use Fees, meaning businesses would pay more whenever they block off parking spaces, lanes, or streets. These fees are expected to rise 3% to 5% annually. 4) A proposed “streaming service” fee, intended—according to its proponent, Jamie Dunphy—to encourage residents to leave their homes and attend live events in Portland. 5) A proposed increase to the Portland Arts Tax, intended to generate additional funding for nonprofit organizations. This is yet another Commission Dunphy proposal. 6) A third Dunphy proposal, along with his DSA buddy, Sameer Kanal, proposed a “vacancy fee” targeting downtown property owners, penalizing long-term vacant commercial spaces, with escalating fines based on duration of vacancy. 7) Park usage fees increased by approximately 10%. 8) Water and utility service fees are expected to rise by roughly 8% and 5%, respectively. 9) Additional increases are being considered for permits and short-term rental platforms such as Airbnb and VRBO. 10) And finally, highway tolling remains on the table in the Portland metro area. Governor Tina Kotek announced a moratorium on tolling early in her term in 2023, but her administration has identified 2026 as a potential time to revisit the idea. These are not even an exhaustive list. With the municipality of Portland being either the highest or second highest taxed in the country, how are these increases supposed to help residents and businesses afford to exist here?

@Constance6968 @Kuen_owo @Ziya_Meral "Tarihi galipler yazar" söylemine sığınarak yazdığınız yalan tarih artık dökülüyor, gerçekler gün yüzüne çıkıyor. Beşyüz yıldır eşkıyalık yaparak dünyayı yağmaladınız, Kızılderili'lere soykırım yaptınız, siyah'ları köleleştirdiniz. Türk tarihi insanlığın onur tarihidir.
