@PDXReal1 Everyone in the union is claiming this is worse than 2008 Over 1000 out of work Journeyman Electricians. 500 out of work plumbers and pipefitters. A lot of people are thinking about moving to Arizona, Texas and the east coast. It’s getting worse not better which is alarming.
As we approach potential May referendum vote, let’s not forget the megaphone in @PDXReal1 who championed @real_eddiehl and @brucestarrfororegon’s effort that so many of all political parties championed together! VOTE NO on the largest tax increase in Oregon history! @notaxoregon
Austin tried to pass rent control, but the state didn’t allow it. Instead, we allowed developers to build. Now it’s cheaper to rent in Austin as a % of income than in decades. Move to states and cities that build things instead of having virtue signaling policies that don’t help
