My clients are viewing properties in Italy today. The agent just pulled out a bottle of beer that people fly to Belgium specifically to queue for. Westvleteren 8, brewed by monks 42 days a year and only sold directly by the Abbey. They passed on the house, but they took the gift ofc😂

When Adam and Eve sinned, they insulted God and this insult had to be atoned for. Mankind had to make amends for that insult, but no man could, by nature. repair the offense to God. The only worthy reparation could be done by God Himself. That is why Jesus, who is both man and God, was the only one, who, by his sacrifice, could repair the insult made to God by mankind.

So I watched "The Passion of the Christ" last night. And I am on my back deck tonight thinking. Think about this. In the movie, they have beaten him to near death and when they first take him to his cross, Jesus clings to it, and the thief chastised him for embracing his own cross. Mocking him for doing so. Then Christ gave all he had to carry that cross which weighed as much as him.. They beat him while he did. It came to the point that his physical body couldn't carry it any longer, so a man was ordered to carry it with him. Yet Christ still clung to the cross. Do you know why? Because he knew at the other end of that short journey was OUR freedom. Not his.... OURS..... with every single step, with every drop of blood, with every single tear, he knew he was one moment closer to being at the right hand of the Father and his mission complete to free us all. The man embraced the cross. Begged God to forgive the men nailing him to it. Begged God to forgive those that had beaten him with whips and canes and hammered a crown of thorns on his head. He embraced it all.... for US...... And now, when times get hard and life gets even slightly uncomfortable, we claim that "God isn't listening and won't take my burden" as if we even know what a real burden is... How many times would we cling to the proverbial cross for another and suffer as he did to free them from the pain? Would we ever do it at all? Maybe for our own child? Maybe? As you lay down tonight, pray a prayer of thanks. Not for the normal things. Not tonight. Tonight, pray a special prayer of thanks that he held on to that cross and carried it as far as his mortal body would allow... because that took more dedication than any of us could give for anyone. By the time you wake up in the morning, he will have risen, 2000 years ago. He will have beat death. 2000 years ago, all the sin you and I will ever commit was paid for because he clung to that cross like it was a lifeline.... not for him... But for you and me.

📌 Steun mij: max1909.backme.org Mijn woord is uw gereedschap #NATO #IsraelIranConflict

Anything coming from the Vatican since the Second Vatican Council - when the Novus Ordo Sect was officially promulgated - in matters of Faith and Morals is either a Blatant Heresy, Theological Error, Half-truths( typical modernist style ) or a Pernicious lie. The problem is, people are so ignorant, that they cannot tell the truth from the lie. Why? ". . .because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying." -2 Thes 2: 10 Estote Fortes in Fide!

If I am not mistaken, there is a difference in opinion between the Catholics and the Orthodox regarding the person of the Trinity who transsubstantiates the bread and wine. Catholics believe it is Jesus himself and Orthodox believe it is the Holy Spirit. An Eucharistic miracle in Lourdes in 1999 that happened on live TV (which can be found on YouTube) appears to give credence to the opinion of the Orthodox.

@ChristineNiles1 If the point of DDF was to reduce confusion with its document, it seems to have missed its objective and even to have completely backfired when I read the many, many threads on X on this topic.

If people read the DDF document, it's clear the Vatican rejected the title co-Redemptrix on prudential grounds, not doctrinal. It's the same position held by Pope Benedict, so Leo doesn't differ from him on this score. If people are going to be distraught, this should hardly be the reason why. Also, several headlines reported that the Vatican rejects the title "Mediatrix." False. The Vatican merely urges caution and precision in its use. vatican.va/roman_curia/co…

Completely agree. God absolutely did not need Mary to initiate the redemption of humankind, yet He wanted it so. And Mary said "yes". She thus took full part in this magnificent endeavour and is therefore rightly called co-redemptrix, by the will of God the Father. "Co" meaning "fully (i.e. in body, heart, soul and spirit) associated with", nothing more, but also nothing less.

Until this week the vast majority of the world’s Catholics were unaware of a controversy surrounding the use of the title Co-Redemptrix to honor the Virgin Mary. So why did the Vatican see a need to ‘clarify’ a confusion that did not exist? Why not, instead, clear up confusion about— oh, say, what the word “synodality” actually means? catholicculture.org/commentary/why…

You are right. This journalist, who also proclaims to be a pro-Ukrainian activist in his bio and thus admits having a huge bias, associates two different facts in the same temporal momentum (award of Legion of Honor + a private conversation with Macron), whilst Sachs (to my knowledge) never said that both events happened at the same time.

This seems so 3rd grade. Doesn’t Macron approve who is awarded such awards? Isn’t it possible they communicated about this outside of the official award ceremony? This is the big gotcha that discredits everything Sachs has said? Have you even checked in with Sachs to verify any of this, or to have him clarify? My goodness every time anyone strikes a nerve with the powers that be my timeline gets flooded with folks attacking/crushing the people instead of addressing the issues.

The hardest thing for a liar is to remember the lies he tells. In this video, propagandist Jeffrey Sachs invents a new version of the lie he recently told in Italy. Last September 15, during the festival of the pro-Russian newspaper @ilfattoquotidiano, he said, "Macron gave me the Legion of Honor and in private he told me what he doesn't say in public: 'The war is NATO's fault.'" The truth is, however, that that honor was awarded to Sachs in May 2022, and it was not Macron who presented it, but the French Ambassador to the United States, Philippe Etienne, during a ceremony held at the French Consulate General in New York. The French president never attended that event and therefore could not have uttered the phrase Sachs attributes to him. And just to say, this war could have been avoided simply if the invader had not invaded and it could end today if the aggressor stopped killing and destroying.

HOW LONG DO SOULS REMAIN IN PURGATORY? The length of time souls are detained in Purgatory depends on: a) the number of their faults; b) the malice and deliberation with which these have been committed; c) the penance done, or not done, the satisfaction made, or not made for sins during life; d) Much, too, depends on the suffrages offered for them after death What can safely be said is that the time souls spend in Purgatory is, as a rule, very much longer than people commonly imagine. We will quote a few of the many instances which are recounted in the lives and revelations of the Saints. St. Louis Bertrand's father was an exemplary Christian, as we should naturally expect, being the father of so great a Saint. He had even wished to become a Carthusian monk until he learned that it was not God's will for him. When he died, after long years spent in the practice of every Christian virtue, his saintly son, fully aware of the rigors of God's Justice, offered many Masses and poured forth the most fervent supplications for the soul he so dearly loved. A vision of his father still in Purgatory forced him to intensify a hundredfold his suffrages. He added most severe penances and long fasts to his Masses and prayers. Yet eight whole years passed before he obtained the release of his father. St. Malachy's sister was detained in Purgatory for a very long time, despite the Masses, prayers and heroic mortifications the Saint offered for her! It was related to a holy nun in Pampluna, who had succeeded in releasing many Carmelite nuns from Purgatory, that most of these had spent there terms of from 30 to 60 years! Carmelite nuns in Purgatory for 40, 50 and 60 years! What will it be for those living amidst the temptations of the World and with all their hundreds of weaknesses? St. Vincent Ferrer, after the death of his sister, prayed with incredible fervor for her soul and offered many Masses for her release. She appeared to him at length and told him that had it not been for his powerful intercession with God, she should have remained an interminable time in Purgatory. In the Dominican Order it is the rule to pray for the Master Generals by name on their anniversaries. Many of these have been dead several hundred years! They were men especially eminent for piety and learning. This rule would not be approved by the Church were it not necessary and prudent. We do not mean to imply that all souls are detained equally long periods in the expiatory fires. Many have committed lesser faults and have done more penance. Therefore, their punishment will be much less severe. Still, the instances we have quoted are very much to the point, for if these souls who enjoyed the intimacy, who saw the example and who shared in the intercession of great Saints during their lives and were aided by their most efficacious suffrages after death were yet detained for such a length of time in Purgatory, what may happen to us who enjoy none of these wonderful privileges? - Fr. Paul O. Sullivan, O.P.

We must be careful here. Private revelations, even from saints we deeply love, are not doctrine. They can never be treated as certain truth. The Church has never declared anyone to be in hell, because only God knows the state of a soul at death. We may speak clearly about error, but final judgment belongs to God alone. We can say someone died in grave error. We can warn of the dangers of their teachings. But we cannot speak with certainty about their eternal fate. The Church names saints. It does not name the damned. So when claims like this are made, we should receive them with sobriety. They may reflect a private vision or opinion, but they do not carry the authority of the Faith. Our task is to pray, to trust in God’s perfect justice and mercy, and to avoid presumption.

The Nun who saw Martin Luther in Hell🔥 Sister Clotilde Micheli (1849-1911), also known as Sister Maria Serafina of the Sacred Heart, received visions during her life, most notably on November 10, 1883. While in Germany, in a small village, she was looking for a church to pray and reflect in. She found one, and it so happened to be a Lutheran church. Her Guardian Angel came to her and said: "Arise, for this is a Protestant church. I want to make you see the place where Martin Luther was condemned and the pain he suffered as a punishment for his pride." At that moment she saw Luther in the deepest place in Hell. He was on his knees surrounded by huge number of devils with hammers driving large iron nails into his skull. He he was consigned to the fires of Hell for starting the Protestant rebellion. Padre Pio also said that Martin Luther is in Hell and Christians today who follow him will meet the same end and those who do not submit themself to the pope and the teachings of the Catholic Church are also going to Hell. St. Padre Pio said that Luther was a great heretic and his fate was horrific and terrifying.
