Maybe this will get some hate But my heart goes out fully to all users affected Not Drift There are thousands of users who lost their life savings Yes, it was their decision to use Drift, but Drift marketed themselves as the best place to trade, to park stables, etc. And Drift disappointed (some would say betrayed) users Not by falling for social engineering but for handling weak opsec while managing over $500M And yes, I can't imagine how bad the Drift team feels, but the truth is life continues for them They had huge paychecks, will get hired by other companies, etc. The past proved this With higher payment comes higher responsibility and accountability, which is currently totally missing from the Drift team Maybe that's a legal issue and still sympathy doesn't cost you anything We've had Bybit pushing announcements every minute, doing livestreams, etc. We have Drift and it's radio silent

this is good news BUT there is no composability, at least not yet. quoting is done via "just in time" liquidity, so you can't trade outside of NYSE hours you can not LP this, either. I mean, you can, but there is no liquidity, and if you add, you won't be routed through it, unless you add size. it's a great step in the right direction but, at present, it's missing so much, it's not useable.

@FabianoSolana I feel incentives will always drive usage in crypto, yes time has mature but most of the projects would have maybe 5 users max without incentives like airdrop.

In 2023 all you had to do was stake 1 SOL for 3 months to qualify for the lowest tier of the Jito Airdrop At ATH that was worth $30,000 But Airdrops have changed The farmer in me is crying — but at the same time, this feels like a sign the space is maturing Or could you imagine Uber offering free stocks for using their product?
