Can anyone tell me the capacity of a PATH PA-5 car? The closest I can find is an article about PATH extending to 9 cars saying it will accommodate an additional 110 people, but it's about the same dimensions as a R188, which an 11-car 7 train holds an avg of 183 people per car

Don't ever let anyone tell you that there's no market for public transportation in Puerto Rico. El famoso tapón de la 52 Bumper to bumper from the intersection of PR-22/PR-18 all the way to Trujillo Alto via PR-17 and PR-181

@AirlineFlyer Is the MTA bus over the Bayonne bridge to HBLR still a thing? Not that it would help you on this route

@hsrgood @alanthefisher Wait, there's no way these are still in regular operation!? I took a joyride during a Greyhound layover maybe 6-8 years back

Electric Regional/National Rail to NA when?
Made it out to IRM today in preparation for "Day out with Thomas™" and this has got to be the best use for the trolleybus when it's out of service on special event days. Mind you this is the Skoda trolleybus from Dayton!

@Rafa_CathPR No necesariamente.

Anyone know why buses aren't allowed on Henry Hudson Parkway from midtown to the GWB? Weight limit is 22 tons, clearances are fine (don't ask me how I know), and Academy even has permits for certain work to use it. Seems like a decent alt for buses coming from north of GWB

@mdasilva1563 That's basically the only reasoning I can see for it, especially with transit. With regular buses like charter, I can see NYS not trusting drivers to not fuck up and go past the GWB

A fix for this problem is easier said then done, but looks fairly simple, trains would head down to hamilton the head north-west to Indianapolis. Another potential sore spot is around Pittsburgh, where tracks look like a can of worms and could be slower in some spots

@TheLIRRToday @LIRR It's not even that it's not the most critical to fix. Private ops serve much smaller populations both in terms of ridership & regionality, where as LIRR is traversing the entirety of LI serving various markets. The ops with smaller scope are the ones who need to match, not LIRR

@Consult_JBF @LIRR I agree there are many factors & on the list of problems with these schedules, this ranks very low. Of the two parties, the one that just got $17 billion worth of public money for capacity expansions earns the 👎 but I agree it's not the most critical to fix.

Another ferry fail with @LIRR's new schedules. The daily ferry from Montauk to Block Island leaves Montauk Harbor at 10:00a. What time does the first LIRR train from the city get you there on weekends? 10:04a. The return trip also misses train 6017 on Sundays by 2 minutes.
