After thanking the @UCC_Official team that arrived ahead of her on Sunday, during her opening remarks in today’s session, Madam Ruth noted that the Regional Film Competition has come closer to filmmakers, meeting them where they are. She explained that the initiative builds on the achievements of the Uganda Film Festival, which has greatly benefited city-based filmmakers, while now extending those opportunities to the regions. Day 2 of the Regional Film Competition Northern Region kicked off with opening remarks from Mr. Leonard Amanya.
