Nidhi Shekaran was born in India and came to Australia in 2000. She has cerebral palsy and vision impairment and is worried about NDIS reforms. This may sound harsh, but why are we importing people who will have to be funded by taxpayers the rest of their lives?

This is a good dive into one specific aspect with stratification, as opposed to using single graphs where ppl also take one or a few data points & making sweeping statements.

Tony Burke bragged that our medical system doesn't function without migrants. That's not a good thing. That's a disgrace. Including migrants in the health sector is fine. Making it dependent on migrants is not. We're a first world country with - allegedly - the highest education standards in the world - and our hospitals function on imported skills??? Remember when Jim Chalmers promised Labor wouldn’t touch negative gearing or the CGT discount? In this October 2024 interview he ruled it out, saying the focus was on building more homes, not changing tax rules for investors. Now, just weeks from the May 12 Budget, he’s openly eyeing exactly those changes to fix “intergenerational unfairness”, while hunting big NDIS savings. Albanese once said “my word is my bond.” Many voters are wondering if that still means anything. Is this responsible budget repair or another broken promise that hits family wealth and housing investment? Australia deserves straight answers before the Budget drops. What do you think?

Spoke to a close friend of mine, he’s a Doctor. One of his patients is a Labor supporter & works for the Public Service. Question was put to him by my Doctor mate, are you accepting of what Labor are doing to Australia. That person responded with NO! The next question, would you still vote Labor next time? His response was yes he would only because the other mob (Libs/One Nation) will cull the Public Service Jobs. Next question, do you need all those people in your Department to do the work? Response was No, the work could be done with a third of the current Staff. Every Public Servant on the Labor gravy train will always vote for Labor irrespective of how bad Labor are in Govt. Then we’ve got to consider Albo’s two million (appx) blow in voters who Tony Burka is considering giving voting rights to & will further underpin Labor’s voter base. Why is it that anyone on the left becomes completely unhinged, or not able to the debate the point regarding science, when they support science so much, but they don't support the Science that a Man can't be a woman, and a man can't be a woman? Does the science no longer matter?
