If you walk through an Israeli cemetery, you’ll notice something different.
On the graves of Holocaust survivors, below their own names, there are often lists of others. These are their parents, brothers, and sisters who were murdered by the Nazis, etched into the stone because they never received a grave of their own.
My grandparents’ headstones bear their names, and in their case as well, the slabs below carry the names of their siblings who were murdered in the Holocaust and denied a final resting place.
For survivors, their own grave became a memorial for an entire family wiped out.
It is a way to defy the Nazis’ attempt to erase them from history. It gives us, the grandchildren, a physical place to light a candle and say: “You existed. You are part of us.”
But there are those with no grave and no name carved into stone, because no one was left to write their names.
Our job is to be their memory. We remember those who have a name on a stone, and those who do not.
May their memories be a blessing.

A little boy walks down the road at Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945, passing hundreds of bodies as if they’re part of the landscape, with no one left to tell him this isn’t normal.
Never forget🕯️
@GMB He wants to make illegal immigration legal, keep blanket 20mph speed limits (>93% of 30mph roads are now 20mph), nudge you out of your car & onto Transport for fails/get you cycling while he laughs from his government limo. He also a fan of net zero & transgender.
Careful voting
@GMB We all know that in his hands, more power would actually just mean more taxation. Higher rates and new taxes like the levy on overnight stays. And the revenue would go on "freebies". None of this will bring prosperity.
What an absolute disgrace. We cannot allow these people to slink away into the dark. Someone must accept responsibility so we can stop this happening again. It won’t bring those beautiful children back but it might deter people from being so slack if the know there are consequences.
Those poor poor families. My heart breaks for them.
The public inquiry found that "no agency or multi-agency structure accepted responsibility" for assessing and managing the "grave risk" posed by the attacker.

COALITION OF THE USELESS
Keir Starmer is set to meet Emmanuel Macron in Paris on Friday for talks about the strait of Hormuz
A lot of “talk” coming from these two clowns, but we all know they will do absolutely nothing.
🚨Keir Starmer knew from the first hours that the Southport attack was terror-related.
Yet he deliberately covered it up, branded grieving Brits “far-right,” and then lied again claiming he couldn’t say anything because it would “prejudice the trial.”
Journalists from left and right tore into him in one of the most brutal press conferences in years.
This should have ended the career of a man completely unfit to lead.
The oldest roads ever found on earth are British. 🇬🇧
Rome gets the credit for roads.
But Britain had roads before Egypt had pyramids.🇬🇧
In 1970, a man named Ray Sweet was cutting peat in the Somerset Levels.
His spade hit wood.
Oak planks. Laid end to end across the marsh.
He'd just found the oldest road on earth.
Archaeologists dated the timber precisely — matching the growth rings against thousands of years of climate records.
3807 BC.
Nearly six thousand years old.
Beside it, buried in the same peat, they found a jade axe.
Not from Somerset. Not even from Britain.
From the Alps.
These people were trading across Europe six thousand years ago.
For decades, the Sweet Track was known as the oldest road ever found.
Then in 2009, archaeologists were digging next to Belmarsh Prison in London.
Four and a half metres underground.
They found timber.
Another road. Built in 4100 BC.
Three hundred years older still.
The pyramids weren't built until 2560 BC.
Britain's roads are older by more than a thousand years.
Our people. 🇬🇧
Who looked at the problem.
And solved it.
Six thousand years ago.
Did they teach you that?

🇺🇸 SAN DIEGO : LE K-9 HÉROS A FAIT LE JOB ! 🐕💥
‼️UNACCEPTABLE‼️
WHY did Prevent give up trying to speak to him because he didn’t appear to have a ‘fixed ideology’ and was ‘reluctant to engage’?!
WHY are his parents not being charged for obstructing officials trying to intervene and for giving dishonest answers during the inquiry to justify their actions?!
It makes me sick to my stomach. We were told 3 years before that Prevent had undergone significant changes after what happened to my dad. I guess those changes either never existed or failed. Now 3 little girls were also cruelly taken because of it.
‘He was sent to a special school, which made three referrals to Prevent over concerns about what he was consuming online. He was also repeatedly referred to mental health teams and family and well-being services.
But the Prevent referrals were dismissed because he did not have a fixed ideology and the reclusive teenager was reluctant to engage with officials, who effectively gave up trying to see him’.
