Being a Minnesotan is tough these days. Between the protests, riots, fraud, ICE, Anti-ICE and the circus that revolves around all of that we also have to deal with the snow and cold in the winter, and heat/humidity and mosquitoes in the summer. On top of all that Old Home has had all kinds of trouble manufacturing the best thing about being Minnesotan - Old Home Cottage Cheese. It's nearly impossible to find anymore and we're left with Kemps cottage cheese which is disgusting. The struggle is real.

@KenCook_KC @BeschlossDC Ah, the joys of being a copier tech. I had fun w/customers harassing me. If it got really bad (and it did) I’d put a sign on the copier saying Out of Order, pack up, and come back a couple days later. Two can play at this.

@BeschlossDC I used to fix the copier machines at Phillips Academy back in the 1980s. I felt like the janitor from "Good Will Hunting." The way they looked down at me (faculty and students) because I carried a tool bag was something I'll always remember.

What’s MN's “fourth” city? Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and Bovey are pretty clearly the top 3 but the 4th is more ambiguous. I feel like the main contenders are probably Duluth, Rochester, Minneota, or maybe Mankato

The purpose of NASA using astronauts in space is for us (the taxpayer?) to gain vital data on the difficulties man will have in that environment and SHARE it openly with scientists and yes, all others, back on earth. To this end ALL readings/ailments/illnesses have always been shared as they well have to do with how we will cope with man’s living in this environment in different situations. If we have to send a person whom from the ISS for certain medical conditions as we lack the ability to teletreat or operate on them in space with onboard crew…that is a problem. We have every right to know what condition our employee had. He was working for us, the American people and we paid an awful lot to bring him home; this is far more than idle curiosity for many of us, it is a desire to continue the advance of science.

@DanaWessel I managed a couple of stores back in the day. Friday & Saturday evenings were the only really busy times at a video store. Adding tanning beds helped create revenue during the rest of the day. The moms had to be tan so they'd visit during the weekdays.

Can someone older than me explain why video stores had tanning beds in them back in the day? Who was getting a kick 12 minute bronze while renting Revenge of the Nerds in 1984?
