I’m sad to share that for health reasons I will no longer be attending Devcon Bangkok. This was a very difficult decision for me, but one that I made with guidance from my doctors recently. As much as I Iove my work, my health is also a priority, which can be hard to focus on in Web3. There’s truly nothing I love more than the opportunity to connect with the SheFi community, our partners, speakers and vendors at SheFi Summit. To go from virtual screens to in person hugs fills me with so much joy. I am devastated to miss you all. As much as I am saddened to miss this SheFi Summit, I know it will be the best one yet. Countless hours have gone into the planning, coordinating, creativity, agenda, design, speaker list, etc. And SheFi Summit has never been done alone but rather with a dedicated team of talented women. From SheFi, Ela Passarelli, Juanna Zhai, and Alyssa Mae Tumlos will be in Bangkok. They have done so much of the heavy lifting for this Summit, executing on our vision beautifully. Bettina Boon Falleur, SheFi member and EthCC organizer, will be running the day. I know she will do a fantastic job of ensuring an unforgettable experience for every sponsor attendee. While this may be the first large-scale SheFi event without me, it won’t be the last. Because for SheFi to have longterm success, it needs to continue to be decentralized to the community. Our community is what makes SheFi so incredible, and in 2025, we’ll continue to create ways for the community to steward our mission. I want there to be many SheFi events happening all the time so we can put thousands of women on stage — not just hundreds. I ask that you please continue to support SheFi by showing up on 11/11. The talks are technical but creative and accessible. The speakers are women I admire, who are pushing the space forward, and the vibes are always immaculate because of all of you. There is no one else in crypto that creates the rooms that we do, and we care a lot about providing everyone who attends with an excellent experience. I do not want to concern you that my health issues are dire — they are not! My body just needs some extra TLC right now. I’m looking forward to hearing all about your experiences at SheFI Summit Bangkok. I will be there in spirit. See you in person next year. 🤍
