On March 31 2026 the Maharashtra government issued a reshuffle. Tukaram Mundhe received his 24th transfer in 21 years.
No explanation given. No misconduct cited.
India has a system for honest officers. It does not fire them. It moves them. Keeps moving them. Until they give up or retire.
