My understanding is they added the Harry Osborn Green Goblin mode because they originally had Josh Keaton voice Spider-Man. When Tobey Maguire agreed to do the voice for the game, they decided not to throw out all Keaton's voice work, and reuse it instead by creating this whole new mode with extra voice lines.
Truly a labor of love by 2002 Treyarch. We just don't get that kind of dedication from developers these days. And then they made Spider-Man 2, one of the most revolutionary superhero games of all time (and Keaton returned to voice Harry).

In the Spider-Man 2002 movie tie-in game if you beat it on the hardest difficulty you unlock Green Goblin mode which let's you play as The Goblin, and its not just a cosmetic change, you get to use the bombs and the glider.

Kinda boomer posting but he's not calling himself Jesus. He has been clear all along that he feels he is doing the work God set for him. Jesus' disciples healed the sick in His name. With Christ in us, we can do His work too.
