I learned ping pong on the streets, you either got good or you died.

@SleeperMets @MLBNetwork Lindor is 32 Tatis is 27. How many more elite seasons does Lindor have left ? 2 maybe 3? Tatis probably has more in the tank and as a Dominican New York fits him. Just something to think about
English

.@MLBNetwork proposed a trade that would send Fernando Tatis Jr to the Mets.
Mets receive:
Fernando Tatis Jr
Padres receive:
Francisco Lindor
Would you do this 🤔?

@rmny1976 @OsvaldoAlcantS We have Rice under contract until he’s like 33 or 34. There’s no rush.
English

@OsvaldoAlcantS He’s the real deal you extend him in the next couple of years before he’s going to command 45M on the market.
English

Yankees would be wise to extend Rice now and buy out his arbitration years.
Yankeesource@YankeeSource
Ben Rice making $845K this year is insane.
English

@betunitsez @Masterflip_ Your math is not good, if they play .580 from here on out they will end up with 86 wins, and that deff ain’t enough. Last year 89 wins would have been the last wildcard spot and look at all the teams that missed and are way better this year. Seasons over, pack it in friendo.
English

We’ve got a real chance to win this series today.
Keep stacking series wins, claw your way back to .500, mix in a sweep here and there, and you’ll find yourself right back in contention. That’s the mindset!
Forget the games behind the Braves for now. The mission is simple: get back to .500, then make a run. #LGM

@metsbatflip1 @jorgecastillo “All the worst pitchers in the game are available, no lowballs”
English

The Mets are willing to deal any starting pitcher other than Nolan McLean, Freddy Peralta or Clay Holmes, per @jorgecastillo

@tbowmonster507 @Chrisforgione13 @TylerOlsson @TalkinJake @TalkinYanks 10 hits in his last 8 games including 3 HRs, plus he’s been playing very good defense. He needs to be more consistent, yes. However the point is - even when he’s hitting as bad as possible, he’s still technically contributing positively.
English

@Chrisforgione13 @CoreyYo_ @TylerOlsson @TalkinJake @TalkinYanks I didn’t say flawless defense. I said very good. His bat will come around as it always does and like it has started to do.
He needs to be better. He knows that. He will be, I bet my salary and will take any bets if you’re in.
Lot of season left.
English

@TylerOlsson @TalkinJake @TalkinYanks Jazz’s hitting has been atrocious and he’s still a positive WAR player a month in. Maybe we relax on the hyperbole?
English

@TalkinJake @TalkinYanks Never apologize for winning, great start. But…
Need an upgrade at 3B
Chisholm not good enough so far
Bullpen has zero swing and miss
To win 20 out of 30 with those problems is great. But to be a World Series team, issues need fixing.

@MaddenNFLDirect “Now that our shitty bundles are making us less money because the game doesn’t work, this is our biggest priority. No makerights will be given”

Hey Ultimate Team fans,
We’re aware of server performance issues across Ultimate Team.
Our teams are actively working to address this, but the experience is expected to remain impacted into tonight.
We’ll continue to share updates here as more information becomes available. Thank you for your patience.
English

@TheMetsX More like uneducated Mets fan. Pay 50% of the contract and you can have Volpe and Gil, fuck it.
Lindor has probably 1 good season left, how many 35+ year old SS ever have been good offensive and defensive contributors?
Also he has 10/5 rights, which means smaller return too
English

Sure, give us
Anthony Volpe
Carlos Lagrange
Dax Kilby
Spencer Jones
Luis Gil
I’ll make that move
SleeperYankees@SleeperYankees
Hey @SleeperMets, when does the fire sale begin? 😏
English

@therealbink1 @SleeperYankees @SleeperMets The Mets would have to pay most of his contract to even get a good prospect back
English

@SleeperYankees @SleeperMets Yankees have nothing to give us for Lindor if he’s moved it won’t be to you guys 😭😭
English

@yankeefan2024 @Dog1Tyson @SleeperMets In 3 years soto will be a 31 year old who is slower and probably even worse at defense. Why would they offer to pay him 51 mil a year for his worse years when they couldn’t even do anything with him when he was in his prime?
English

@Dog1Tyson @SleeperMets Even if he does opt out all Cohen is going to do is pay him the extra $5M to keep him. Soto is truly a Met for life pretty much
English

@SteveGelbs @Buster_ESPN Sure, it is early in the season…but to a degree that doesn’t matter. If you Want a shot to make the playoffs you are allowed to lose 72 games, the Mets already used 19 of those losses. Are they really capable of of only losing 52 more times from now until the end of September?
English

@fceee1 @eyyankees Because he’s not that good of a hitter. Day game after night game…this is all pretty normal stuff here
English

@sal_licata @sal_licata you just blow in from stupid town? Talking to your teammates once or twice during a gnarly losing streak while you’re disconnected, and checking in every 46 seconds and cooking them ziti are not even almost the same thing. You’re an idiot lmao
English

@Masterflip_ Last year, on average a wild card team needed 90 wins, which means 72 losses. The Mets already have 16 losses, which leaves them with 56 losses to play with for the remainder of the year. You think they can go 82-56 (.600 ball) starting 4/23 thru September? I don’t think so pal
English

No MLB team has ever made the playoffs after losing 12 straight.
But, the circumstances are different now. There’s 3 wild card spots and this is damn near a $400M roster with 138 games to go. If there’s a team to ever do it, it’s these Mets! #lgm
