In countries with authoritarian governments, currency controls, and failing banks, Bitcoin offers something different: an exit. The Cornell Bitcoin Club is studying this across 25 countries. The Hodari Fund is demonstrating it in the DRC. Circular economies are emerging in Nigeria and Kenya. Bitcoin Culture Hub exists to connect these movements, share these stories, and coordinate the people making it happen. #Bitcoin #BitcoinCommunity

Conclusion: Adoption Hinges on Trust, Utility, and Access Bitcoin’s future isn’t just about tech—it’s about perception, purpose, and practicality. 🌐 In countries facing economic instability, bitcoin is seen as a lifeline. 🧠 In wealthier or more regulated markets, skepticism reigns. 📌 Overall takeaway: To drive adoption, focus on education, ease of use, and real-world utility. 🧭 Overall Takeaway Perceptions of bitcoin today remain cautious: 🔸Usability concerns limit confidence in everyday use 🔸Security perceptions are marked more by uncertainty than rejection 🔸Many people feel they lack the knowledge or resources to participate. The data suggests that more education, usability improvements, and accessible onramps may additionally impact bitcoin’s global adoption. (5/n)
