Here I am in #Tamworth with another Track the Treasure 🏴‍☠️ This time at the wonderful @age_uk charity shop! Age UK is a charity dedicated to supporting older people through advice, services, and companionship - the work they do is incredible. I’m trying to find a treasure in their shop, which I can sell at auction & give all the proceeds back to the charity. I’ve found the treasure… can you? 🤔

Founded in 1904 , my find today was a Staffordshire Arthur Wood Longport pottery pig money box , circa 1955 and hand painted . Made as a souvenir when acquired in Evesham it captures the mid century, just post WW2 . Value- pigs might fly 😊cost £1.99 . I think at auction £20-30

@paullewismoney Premium Bonds have got to be the most useless savings ever. I was brought them as Birthday Presents 50 years ago. They're still worth the same amount of money. Zero interest added so worth more & no prizes won ever! So basically worthless.

Major changes to Premium Bonds. Higher interest for prize fund 2.2% taxfree (was 1.4%). Odds shortened per bond per month 24,000:1 (was 24,500:1). More bigger prizes esp. £50 and £100. With £50k on average 3 or 4 x£50 prizes; 3 or 4x£100 prizes and 17 or 18x£25 prizes per year.
