🇺🇸 DOJ PANICS AND ASKS STAFF TO WORK DURING CHRISTMAS TO DROP EPSTEIN FILES
The DOJ is asking prosecutors to work through Christmas week to finally release Epstein files, which feels less like good timing and more like damage control.
This whole rollout has been messy, with earlier releases packed with blacked out names, missing details, and people online finding ways around redactions anyway.
Part of the pressure comes from Epstein’s documented connections to powerful global figures, foreign elites, and diplomatic circles that showed up in court records, flight logs, and witness testimony over the years.
Those ties fueled long running questions about who knew what, who was protected, and why embassies, governments, and international networks kept popping up around Epstein’s orbit.
Congress is now threatening fines and legal consequences, while the DOJ says it has to protect victims, which only deepens public suspicion.
People are frustrated because Epstein moved among global power players, and every delay makes it feel like transparency only happens when pressure becomes impossible to ignore.

🇺🇸 OPINION: EPSTEIN WAS PROCESSED TO DEATH. Epstein is found unconscious at MCC with a circular ligature mark on his neck - documented by medical staff. Not hearsay. A clinical note. He tells staff he doesn’t know what happened, that he’s terrified to return to SHU, that it’s where the marks came from. He reports sleeping 30 minutes a night. That’s a psychological collapse. He names his cellmate: Nicholas Tartaglione, a former NYPD cop awaiting trial on 4 murder charges. Guards already flagged Tartaglione as aggressive. Multiple witnesses later said he mocked Epstein with a string around his neck. Epstein tells staff, explicitly: “He tried to kill me.” Under Bureau of Prisons policy, that should have triggered separation, threat assessment, referral to investigators. Instead, the incident is downgraded to a “possible suicide attempt.” Why? Because suicide is administratively convenient. Assault is not. This matters because 3 weeks later, Epstein is dead in the same jail, under conditions so negligent they defy coincidence: Broken cameras, falsified checks, no cellmate, no accountability. The files don’t scream murder. They whisper something colder: the system knew he was unsafe, documented it, and chose inertia. In federal custody, that’s a decision.
