@asaio87 you’re an idiot if you thought a random guy was just gonna pick up and create awesome stuff for you out of nowhere

I tried to hire a guy to vibecode apps for me. Essentially, I tried to respect what all the AI companies advertise Basically, choose an average Joe without knowledge of programming. Got a guy after 2 days, and he started coding. Got the $20 claude for him. He did the landing page within 5 minutes. I said "Amazing, lets build the app now" "Should take us at most 48 hours" After 15 minutes, the guy hit the limit "I'm not gonna wait 3 hours for the limit to reset" I have to get this guy the max $200 plan, so i purchase it He restarted work, and everything works great. App looks bad, and doesn't really work well. I will let the guy go, and do it myself Good thing, is that we are not hitting the limit anymore. I guess its a win, so much for vibe coding.

@tomhacks average people will code but they won’t be doing anything complex. most people i know doodling in claude code are making website mockups that don’t work or ios apps no one wants. nothing complex

@Cortright_ok avg people are coders (this new feat is for coders, right)? Even then I'd argue coders will hit the limits as much as regular peeps.

Please please please... I don't care about new bloated features and locking in users into uncustomizable harnesses. Make Claude Code reliable, usage metrics clearer, tos unambiguous, allow third party use and you can happily bump the fee to match OpenAI. Everything else... wasted resources at Anthropic HQ
Claude@claudeai

We've redesigned Claude Code on desktop. You can now run multiple Claude sessions side by side from one window, with a new sidebar to manage them all.

One of my reflections from my time at Google: I wish I had spent more time pushing on the end-to-end developer experience across the existing tools. Google has some of the most powerful infrastructure and developer products in the world. The opportunity isn’t just building new AI-native tools. It’s making the entire system feel cohesive, intuitive, and truly great to use. What I saw more often was fragmentation. Parallel tools. Overlapping surfaces. Smart teams solving similar problems in slightly different ways. That’s not a talent problem. It’s a systems problem. And it matters, because great developer tools aren’t defined by any single feature or model. They’re defined by how everything works together: How tools interoperate How quickly you can get from idea to running code How little context switching it takes to stay in flow AI will make all of this more powerful and if the foundation is fragmented, AI doesn’t fix it. It amplifies it. I still believe there’s a huge opportunity here. The winning approach isn’t just “AI for X.” It’s building a coherent, developer-first system where AI is deeply integrated into workflows that already work well. That’s where things really feel magical.

The issue with the $20 Claude plan is we keep hitting the limit every 15 minutes.

Everyone says AI will replace most jobs. But if there are no jobs, there’s no income. No income means no spending. So how does the economy even function? What am I missing?

i don’t think current llm pricing is sustainable long term unless compute costs drop hard either margins are way thinner than people think, or prices are gonna have to go way up to make the economics work

People don't realize how dangerous this peptide moment is. There are millions of people taking untested drugs with no manufacturing standards. This is far worse than Thalidomide.

AI coding agents were supposed to save you 10 hours a week. Most devs are just filling those hours with more work. The agents ship faster. So now you review faster, debug faster, scope more. The hours didn't go anywhere. They just multiplied.

Olipop doubled revenue to $200M in one year by changing their tagline from "A Sparkling Tonic" to "A New Kind of Soda." Meanwhile you're using confusing niche jargon on your packaging and wondering why you can't scale past your early adopters.

Justin Bieber’s presence in pop culture and his 180 legacy turn is so fascinating to me… theres so many straight men who like him now which is crazy because when he debuted you would have been curb stomped if you liked him as a man. So curious to know what the turning point was

I understand there’s a ton of Claude fans out there. I was there too 4-5 weeks ago. Then it got way way way worse and without explanation. What’s worse is that I would consider myself a heavy power user. What about the folks that aren’t and have no idea it was dumbed down over 60% or more since its initial release and are using this day to day. Codex is outperforming Claude in every way right now. Additionally OpenAI is much more transparent, cheaper, and produces much better code in every way to Claude at the moment. Claude has massive outages, lack of transparency to users, some really bad operational and security practices. They’ve lost me. I’m done. What happened ?
