I said I'd leave Twitter if @elonmusk reinstates Trump, so off I go. But I really I wish I knew who these people who have supposedly spoken are.

I am not as worried as others that Twitter will suddenly not work... Call me bullish on @elonmusk and his desire to make this better

Righto! The most important people in investigations are the line prosecutors and agents. Jack Smith is a fantastic choice and the appointment strikes me as a good sign overall. P.S. I suspect Smith won't need to be locked in the room; he'll be eager to review the case in detail.
George Conway ⚖️🇺🇸@gtconway3d

Lock this guy in a conference room for a week with a bunch of line prosecutors and FBI agents and he'll be good to go.

Smith seems like a solid choice. He shut down the Tom Delay investigation when he was at the Public Integrity Unit under Obama. Shows he willing to be the one to make hard, politically unpopular decisions

As I was saying (cough cough), I don’t think AG Garland had a choice here—the reg is clear in my view—but the buck still stops with him. Now let’s talk Potus, Hunter, etc. 🧵

§ 600.1 Grounds for appointing a Special Counsel. The Attorney General *will* appoint a Special Counsel when he determines that criminal investigation of a person or matter is warranted and that investigation would present a conflict of interest for the Department.

@GOPChairwoman You're so full of excrement. You're also about to lose your job to Zeldin because he showed even more ridiculous obsequiousness to Trump than you did.

We’ve seen this time and again: Biden weaponizes his administration to target his political opponents. Whether it’s the former president, pro-life organizations, tagging parents as domestic terrorists, or creating the "ministry of truth," Biden is out of line and out of control.

Reporter: "Most fentanyl comes across the border from people who are US citizens, not immigrants." MTG: "What's your proof? Because that's not what we've been shown by border patrol." Reporter: "From the CATO Institute" MTG: "We're not taking the CATO Institute seriously."

@greg_price11 Excuse me, old immigration agent here. How would any of these Lefty suits or NPR flacks have the slightest idea of who brings the Fentanyl in? What is their evidence? Maybe they are extrapolating hypotheticals from smugglers who are caught? Then just say so. They are guessing.
