@MarioReinoso17 El club se constituyó a finales de 1970, bajo la denominación Gotham Soccer Inc. El 10.12.1970 la franquicia es admitida en la NASL y ya tiene GM, Clive Toye,y en enero ficha entrenador. El 04.02.71, es el día de su "bautizo" como @nycosmos, pero no del nacimiento.

🟢🇺🇸 55 años de New York Cosmos. Ayer 4 de febrero fue el cumpleaños de uno de los equipos más históricos del soccer de EEUU. Nacido en 1971 y hogar de estrellas hasta 1985 (Pelé, Beckenbauer, Neeskens, Carlos Alberto…). Este 2026 los #NYCosmos debutan en la #USL League One.

@UruguayanH @NYCosmos Jugaria tb el amistoso de la semana siguiente semana contra la seleccion militar de Italia,pero no tengo en mi base de datos esas alineaciones. Si que estuvo en Philadelphia Ukrainians meses después, por lo que es muy probable que estuviera en USA y entrenara un tiempo a prueba.

On this evening in 1979 was at The Bridge for the "International Club Match" between @ChelseaFC and Los Angeles Aztecs. Free sausages given out by Johan Cruyff before game and also red and yellow cards that came with the programme for crowd to use during the game? @cfc_heritage
