“What do you attribute that to?”: @Ben_Scallan asks Energy Minister Darragh O’Brien how he explains the fact that Ireland has the highest energy prices in the EU after over a decade of investing in renewables.
Why does the media give nonstop coverage to a 16-year-old reading from a script, but completely ignore a real climatologist with over 140 scientific papers who calls climate change a hoax? This is media manipulation. 😡🤡

I am literally shaking. Some teenager threw a rock off an overpass and did this to my truck. I caught him, and his dad had the nerve to say, "He’s just a kid being a kid, I’ll give you $50 for the 'inconvenience'." $50?? This is a specialized windshield with sensors! He told me I was "ruining a child’s future" by calling the police. I feel like he’s raising a criminal and expects me to pay for it. Do I press full charges?
I've been fairly quiet on here lately.
Partly because going back to work had to take priority. But mostly because I've been building something in the background.
When I was diagnosed with cancer, I quickly realised that most support focuses on appointments, scans and treatment, and everything is spoken about in medical and clinical terminology that not everyone might be able to understand, especially in those circumstances.
What nobody really prepares you for is everything in between.
The waiting.
The uncertainty.
The fear.
The practical reality of trying to keep living your life while carrying all of that weight
So I built something.
Between Appointments™ is a new project based on lived experience. Honest, practical support for people living with cancer and serious illness. For immediately after diagnosis, throughout treatment, and beyond.
The website is now live and I hope to build it into a complete support ecosystem.

If you think it might help someone you know, I'd really appreciate if you could share it.
Everybody knows someone whose life has been affected by cancer.
You can also follow the project on here @BetweenAppts
And thank you again, so much, to everyone who reached out after I shared my diagnosis. The support was so much more than I ever could have expected, it helped me through some really tough times and I'll never forget it.
This is my way of trying to give something back.
My first appointment since chemo finished is next Tues, and I'll keep you all updated.
The one winner from yesterday's by election is Victoria Starmer.
She must be absolutely delighted that, in a few weeks, she'll no longer have to supply tea and biscuits to murderous islamic barbarians visiting no.10.
She won't have to look interested when she gets dragged out in front of the cameras in an attempt to make her (cough) husband look like a typical family man.
But above all, she won't have to demean herself by being used as a prop in a photo opportunity at such places as Auschwitz.
🚨#BREAKING: It has been confirmed that the man who threw a 3-year-old toddler into a crocodile enclosure in the UK...
...HAS ALREADY BEEN LET OUT ON BOND!!!!
The man is being described as 'mentally disabled' and police are STILL refusing to name him.
Witnesses say the zoo owner's WIFE jumped 15 feet into the crocodile enclosure herself to rescue the child.
A pair of council enforcement officers who caused outrage when they were caught on camera making disturbing threats to beat up a member of the public had been 'acting like gangsters for weeks', the Daily Mail can reveal.
The two 'thugs in uniform' can today be named for the first time as Joseph Fernandes, 38, and Umar Siddiq, 30, both of whom have now been sacked by Harrow council over their aggressive conduct.
The pair had attempted to issue a £100 fine to a terrified teenager they accused of spitting then angrily turned on a member of the public who stepped in to support her, saying: 'I'm going to knock you the f*** out and rip your teeth out.'
Today the Mail can reveal the pair had been using intimidatory tactics to coerce members of the public into paying fines for supposed civil offences in the days leading up to the threat that got them fired.
Among a series of incidents they are said to have snapped off one motorist's car key in the ignition to prevent him from driving away while they pressured him - and left a vulnerable elderly woman resident in tears by falsely accusing her of dropping litter before threatening to call the police if she didn't pay £100.
The pair are also alleged to have had an animus against Hindus and Sikhs and to have mercilessly targeted members of both communities around the north-west London borough.

A further deportation flight left Dublin yesterday and landed safely this morning in Johannesburg, South Africa. There were 42 South African people on board who had received but not complied with Deportation Orders.
@OCallaghanJim Remember the Oyekanmis? All the south Dublin yummy-mummies and rugby dads were out protesting against their deportation. Well, it turns out once they arrived back in South Africa, they were deported to Nigeria. Can we have a follow-up story on them, @orlaryan in the @IrishTimes ?
