Y'all, it's been a day...
Imagine walking into an ER with a gunshot wound and the nurse saying, "hang on, it's going to be a minute, the doctor is giving a guy his booster shots."
That's basically what I experienced today at the vet.
Hashbrown attacked Eggs. And while no one was around. And it's my fault - I left them alone together 😖

I found Eggs on the floor, bloody, and he couldn't stand up.
The closest vet was more concerned about taking a $250 deposit than actually helping my dog. We sat in the waiting room and they legit took the two other dogs that were already waiting (for vaccinations) back to be seen.
After 30 minutes I told the girl behind the counter my ER analogy.
Then I told her that he was flinching every time I moved, that he was in pain, and could someone please get him a shot of something while we're waiting.
Deer in the headlights. "I'm sorry, the other technician is back with another pet."
We fucking left. Didn't even wait to get a refund, I'll fuck with that later, I just want to get my dog looked at, FFS.
I drove to the other side of town where they immediately took and weighed Eggs and gave him a shot with something for the pain - and then we talked about possible injuries and they took him back for an X-ray to rule out fractures - because he won't put any pressure on that front left leg.
Nothing is broken - thank God - but he might have some nerve damage because of where a bite wound is located.
Told me to start him on therapy after the puncture wounds have had a chance to heal in about a week; bend his leg for him, make him paddle in water, etc.
Hopefully he'll regain use of his front leg and won't need it amputated 😖😮💨😳
They gave him back to me so I could put him back in the truck.
Gave me 4 different meds. Told me how to put the ointment on his wounds.
And THEN they discussed payment.
Because priorities 🙌🏻

Unfortunately you helped to create the monster that is Candace Owens.
You gave yourself no time to just be a widow, as you were out there smiling and laughing and promoting yourself as the new Turning Point CEO within days of Charlie’s death. Even TP’s introduction of you at the funeral used the word “CEO” instead of “widow.”
Your heavy-handed, quickly-shifting theatrics hurt you too. One day you were making angry proclamations of vengeance in Charlie’s studio and two days later were giving awkward, highly-rehearsed forgiveness declarations at the funeral.
Your pageant training taught you how to deliver lines and look gorgeous but not how to seem genuine. People rightly sensed that something was off, and this gave a predator like Candace an opening to deceive others.
You went to great lengths to represent yourself as a traditional widow and mom even though anyone with a brain knew that grabbing the reins as CEO of Turning Point would leave little room for anything traditional or much motherly attention for your shell-shocked, fatherless children.
Yes, Candace Owens is horrible and what she’s done is horrible. But you and Turning Point dropped the ball on your rollout and gave her an opening that she wouldn’t otherwise have had.
You’ve always been a career gal of high ambition, and it was obvious that along with your sadness over Charlie, you were thrilled that the big opportunities you’d spent a lifetime chasing had finally landed in your lap.
