The book proves that Russiagate was a deliberate plot by elements of the Obama-era intelligence community, the CIA under John Brennan and Comey’s FBI, to undermine Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, prevent his election, and delegitimize his presidency afterward.
I was pulled into the Russiagate hoax early on, thus becoming an eyewitness. False accounts in the FBI and CIA files and in the media portrayed me as a Russian spy romantically linked to President Trump’s National Security Advisor, Gen. Michael Flynn. Those smears were fabricated by CIA/FBI asset Stefan Halper and British asset Christopher Steele on orders from John Brennan.
Drawing on my cooperation with the Durham investigation, declassified records, and my own direct experiences, the book traces a tangled web of deceit involving Obama’s inner circle, Hillary Clinton’s campaign, British intelligence, the CIA, Christopher Steele, George Soros, and media amplification. It shows how Brennan’s CIA and British operatives planted lies, entrapped Trump advisers, and fed fabricated intelligence upward.
John Brennan’s Role (as the Primary Instigator and Driver)
The book dedicates significant space, including a whole chapter on Director Brennan, to Brennan as the key architect who weaponized the CIA against Trump. Brennan bypassed standard intelligence processes, directed CIA operatives to manufacture the Russiagate Hoax, supplied unverified and false intelligence to the FBI (launching Crossfire Hurricane), briefed Congress, leaked to allies like Sen. Harry Reid, and shaped the post-election Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) to cement the Trump-Russia collusion narrative. His actions were politically motivated to help Hillary Clinton and damage Donald Trump.

On Brennan as instigator of early 2016 intelligence gathering: “Then CIA Director John Brennan’s public statements and actions suggest he is the likely chief suspect for the instigator. On passing fabricated intel to the FBI and White House: “Throughout early 2016 he likely passed intelligence from his source Halper to James Comey’s FBI to investigate… John Brennan told the House Intelligence Committee that the CIA began uncovering from the start of 2016 and then he passed along enough intelligence that Russia was undermining Hillary Clinton’s campaign and supporting her opponent Donald Trump to justify in his opinion opening the FBI investigation.”
In August 2016, Brennan sent a “white envelope with ‘extraordinary handling restrictions’” to the White House containing what the book calls an “intelligence bombshell” on Putin’s alleged direct orders to help Trump — sourced from Halper and Steele’s fabrications.
On briefings and leaks: Brennan briefed the “Gang of Eight” individually and leaked to Harry Reid, whose August 27, 2016 letter to Comey echoed Steele/Halper claims about Carter Page and Russian collusion. The book ties this directly to Brennan’s congressional testimony claiming pre-2016 intelligence on Russian efforts to “suborn individuals.”
On the ICA and broader narrative: Brennan oversaw the January 6, 2017 ICA (Appendix A relied on Steele/Halper false claims of Kremlin cultivation of Donald Trump for years, as well as Michael Flynn and Carter Page). The book notes Brennan’s role in predetermining outcomes and using the ICA to publicly establish “what the Agency already concluded in August.”
The book argues Brennan’s “treasonous path” rhetoric (applied to Gen. Flynn) and his unique counterintelligence authorities enabled the hoax, funded partly through Pentagon channels during the Obama administration. He operated with “amoral, unscrupulous” assets like Halper while violating every norm against domestic political interference.
Barack Obama’s Role (as Enabler and Post-Election Director of the Narrative)
Obama was the head of the administration whose intelligence leadership (Brennan’s CIA and Comey’s FBI) executed the operation. He signed off on key elements, including the fabrication of Gen. Flynn’s “Russian intelligence contacts.” Obama directed post-election efforts to frame President Trump as illegitimate via the ICA. The book shows how Obama’s inner circle’s actions were politically driven to protect the status quo and Clinton’s candidacy.

Post-election actions and ICA: “On December 6, the lame duck President Obama ordered a ‘review’ by US intelligence agencies of Russian interference in US elections, with a plan to make some of the findings public.” This produced the ICA claiming “Putin and the Russian government aspired to help President-elect Trump’s election chances when possible by discrediting Secretary Clinton.” Obama approved aggressive sanctions (expelling 35 Russian diplomats on Dec. 29, 2016) “tantamount to declaring a new Cold War” to box in President Trump.
The book notes that an original IC finding of a legitimate election was overridden by Obama’s directive to rewrite the narrative and frame President Trump. Plotters “included some of the former leadership of Obama’s intelligence community [who] used information they knew was false” to unseat Trump. Intelligence agencies under Obama “behaved more like the oppressive security services in totalitarian states, disgracing themselves… by acting politically, as agents of the Deep State.”
Brennan, with help from British intelligence, originally ran the anti-Trump operation out of Britain to give Obama “implausible deniability.” The operation was “onshored” as Crossfire Hurricane by Brennan and Comey, and Obama’s team used it to delegitimize Trump through the Mueller probe and beyond.
Overall Thesis and Context
My book is an eyewitness account: I was smeared as a “Russian spy” and Gen. Flynn’s lover by Brennan’s CIA operatives. It positions the entire operation as a panic response to Clinton’s email server scandal that was costing her the election — executed through Brennan’s CIA operative Halper’s fabrications, the Steele dossier, FISA abuses, and media leaks.
Obama and Brennan are central: Brennan as the operational mastermind, Obama providing top-level authorization and cover both before and after the election. The new foreword emphasizes fresh revelations about the conspirators and their cover-ups, incorporating post-Durham declassifications (Brennan notes on the “Hillary plan,” the Clinton annex, ICA manipulations). I argue this constituted seditious conspiracy bordering on treason, with Obama directing the overarching effort to manufacture the “Russia installed Trump” narrative after Hillary’s loss.
The book contrasts the hoax with ignored exculpatory evidence (e.g., NSA’s Rogers warnings) and calls for accountability. It is recommended by Devin Nunes and Sara Carter for exposing how Brennan’s, Comey’s, and MI6’s devious spies spread the Trump-Russia collusion lies.
The new edition expands on these themes with newly declassified documents (including Brennan’s August 2016 briefing notes of Obama), making the case more explicit that there was a written plan by the Hillary/Obama/Brennan/Comey/Soros axis.
