When I was in college, I met a girl at a random party. She was beautiful and quite intoxicating. I may have been a bit intoxicated too. We had a brief conversation but I was in love. In our conversation she mentioned how much she liked this certain scone that she found in a bakery in the city. The next morning my dumbass searched the city for almost 3 hours (Google was not really a thing then) looking for this Scone. I was successful. Triumphantly I returned to the place where I met her. Only to be greeted by the 4 football players that lived there. They had a good laugh and ate my scone. I never had asked for her number or dawned on me to ask where she lived. Never saw her again. Probably for the better, kinda creepy when I think about it today…
