It seems like there have been so many dips in the market lately that I’m kinda tired of buying the dip only to see another dip. I decided to start working on a more conservative play with my extra incoming income. So I started buying USDG on Robinhood which is a stable coin pegged 1:1 with the US Dollar. Robinhood doesn’t charge a commission so if you buy 20K you get 20K of USDG and they are paying 7% APY which is better than any CD. Also you can cash out anytime with no penalty for withdrawal and I did a test and there were no fees changing USDG back to US Dollars. So this feels like a good conservative play. Nexo by comparison also had a program that pays 7% on USDC but there is a 5K min with Nexo.
