Can anyone think of any game sequels that were remarkably WORSE than the original? Usually the sequel is the original game perfected, and the third, while good, isn't quite as great as the second.

They have a low salary because not enough people care about who watches their kids & the bar for entry is low and too many people graduate with education degrees. Its not altruism that makes teachers. We have too many degrees for people who can’t do math and science.

100% - and beyond this, $650 was the price if you bought it out of the Sharper Image catalog at release. Street price was usually lower than MSRP. Also, the Silver System (which is never discussed) could be easily found for $300 a few months after launch - it's how I ended up with mine. There's a weird modern notion that the NEO GEO was an "overpriced flop" when it outlasted the competition by years.
