I don't think this is true. Modern billionaires are invested in companies whose scale isn't easily visualized, like a large building or school. The scale of something like Amazon, Meta, OpenAI is probably incomprehensible compared to the physical structures you're referencing, just not easily seen.

Modern billionaires are one of the lamest representations of egregious wealth in all of human history The super wealthy used to build skyscrapers, colleges, school, cathedrals, and many other monuments that lasted long after they pass & continue to contribute to society. Now they hold all their money as a intangible stock, as a number in a screen or go donate it all to the money pit of Africa where it goes absolutely nowhere I can’t even imagine anything more lame, boring, and almost insulting to everyone else than having near unfathomable levels of wealth and doing literally nothing cool with it besides making a number on a screen get bigger ever year. Having the ability to do almost anything and doing nothing with it is almost a disservice to all of mankind achievements and society as a whole.

@Duderichy "Gmail" app is also google chat and google meet in one place. I'm sure if it was just email it would be significantly smaller. For reference slack, 416.5 mb + zoom, 261.5 mb is already nearly the same. Ignoring basic build files / packages but I think it makes sense.
