Well done to our firefighters who represented NFRS at the British Firefighter Challenge over the weekend in Liverpool 👏 1 x🥈 9 x Personal Bests⏱️ The competition is a fantastic way for our firefighters to maintain their fitness and keep skills sharp for incidents.

Don't forget we have 3 fire stations open days in the coming months. Rushden Fire Station's is on Saturday 3rd August and Saturday the 7th of September will be a busy day as 2 fire stations - Wellingborough and Oundle - are both opening their doors to the public!

Keeping fit as a Firefighter 🚒👨🏻‍🚒 Functional Training is much like strength training but you want to look towards exercise that are close or will replicate movements you may face at the variety of incidents you will be attending, keeping the intensity high and rest minimal
