any nontechnical folks want to get more comfortable/powerful in their use of AI and want to be a beta user on something I made?

is talking to a model fine-tuned on your own thoughts (say, for investment judgement) a sign of madness? given this kind of iteration can help models, maybe it helps humans "silicon ducking" instead of rubber ducking

@dimensionalos I feel like there might be some overlap with our efforts. I could focus on RCAN and RRF while taking the core and some other ideas of OpenCastor.com?

California is not just experiencing a heatwave on land. A Category 3 to locally Category 4 marine heatwave has developed off the Southern California coast. La Jolla in San Diego recorded a water temperature of 71°F (21.7°C) yesterday on the last day of winter. That's warmer than the average water temperature in August.

Never seen anything like this. 200+ monthly records set today alone! Every pink dot means a city set its new all-time highest March temperature! That’s around 570 new monthly records in the last 4 days. Some set multiple times. By far the most rogue #heatwave the US has experienced in memory.

🚨 Someone just open sourced an operating system for robots. Any robot. One framework. It's called DimOS. An open source OS that lets you program humanoids, drones, robot dogs, and robotic arms the same way you'd write a Python script. No PhD in robotics. No custom firmware. Just code. Here's what it controls: → Quadrupeds: Unitree Go2, Unitree B1, AGIBOT, Dobot → Drones: DJI Mavic, Holybro x500 → Humanoids: Unitree G1, Booster K1, AGIBOT X2 → Robotic Arms: xARM, AgileX Piper, OpenARMs All from one single framework. Here's the wildest part: Connect Cursor or Claude Code to your robot via MCP. Type "move forward 1 meter." The robot moves. You're vibe-coding a real machine. That's it. You now have a robot operating system. Robotics labs spend millions building this kind of software stack. 100% Open Source.

When Anthropic adds "Built with Claude" to every commit, it looks as dumb as when iPhone users send their emails with the "Sent from my iPhone" signature.

@saranormous @karpathy @NoPriorsPod @chrisalbon Idle robots pull harness candidate configs from a queue, run 10 deterministic synthetic scenarios (~1s each), submit scores back. Trusted coordinator re-verifies a 10% sample to catch dishonest workers. Fleet finds better configs overnight without a researcher in the loop.

The team and I have spent the past several months analyzing feedback from the community. What came through was the voice of people who care deeply about Windows and want it to be better. Read this blog post to learn more about what we're doing in response as we look to raise the bar on Windows 11 quality. Please keep the feedback coming, to help us shape the future of Windows together. blogs.windows.com/windows-inside…
