Because no, Jesus rose HIMSELF from the dead (John 2:18-21). He claimed authority to forgive sins, which his accusers correctly identified as something only God does (Mark 2:5-7). He invoked the divine name “I AM” (John 8:58) eight time, actually. He accepted worship without rebuke (Matthew 28:9; John 20:28). He forgave sins against third parties (Luke 7:48). He rewrote Torah on his own authority (Matthew 5). He claimed lordship over the Sabbath (Mark 2:28). He claimed pre-existence before creation (John 17:5). He claimed omnipresence (Matthew 18:20; Matthew 28:20). He personally dispatched the Holy Spirit (John 15:26; John 16:7). He claimed to be the final judge of all humanity (John 5:22; Matthew 25:31-46). He claimed exclusive mutual knowledge with the Father (Matthew 11:27). He claimed equality with God and did not deny it (John 5:18). He declared himself one with the Father while the crowd prepared to stone him for blasphemy (John 10:30). He claimed to be the shepherd of Israel, a title God reserved for himself in Ezekiel 34 (John 10:11). He confessed his identity directly to the High Priest and predicted his divine enthronement (Mark 14:61-62).

If you’re totally new to the Bible and wonder why it repeatedly says the Jews killed Jesus, what happened was: Despite not being in charge, per se, the Jews used their disproportionate influence, power, and political clout to threaten and manipulate the majority culture to use its government as a proxy to murder their enemy. Sound familiar? But there’s another reason. Before the Roman prefect caved to the Jews, he had already regretted it (Matthew 27:24). Before the Roman centurion finished executing Jesus, he had already confessed He was God (Mark 15:39). And before three centuries was up, the entire Roman Empire had converted (Edict of Milan, 313 AD; Edict of Thessalonica, 380 AD). And to this day, the Jews still reject Jesus, ban Jews who convert to Christianity from migrating to Israel, and in the fourth cup of their fabricated, contrived “Passover” meal, drink to the damnation of Rome for converting to a Christian empire and say a prayer asking for their eternal damnation. It’s no wonder Jesus asked a prayer from the cross to forgive the Romans, and not the Jews (Luke 23:34), and the first sermon in church history began, “Men of Israel…this Jesus, whom you crucified…” (Acts 2:22-23, 36).

When you take at face value what Jesus said without Reasoning on all the other s ruptures how should we understand it? First what is death? He couldn’t be alive and dead at the same time. Therefore Jesus knew by his perfect obedience as a human jests provided the moral basis for his father to raise him from the the dead. Just like dhen Jesus told the women your faith has cured you, did he mean she had the power to cure herself? No it was her faith, from the power of god through Jesus. So in this sense Jesus raised himself from the dead.

So, the first answer to your question is, “Because the Bible says they killed Jesus. Many times. And the Bible says Jesus died. Many times. So that ends the debate as to whether or not He died. The explanation is that Jesus is fully God and fully man. His body was mortal, until at such time, He arose again from the dead. That does not imply His soul or divinity died, any more than ours dies when he leave the mortal coil.

I agree. I have D resistance with 3 autoimmune diseases. I’m going a Coimbra protocol D therapy. I have not been able to do a full carnivore but come fairly close. Over time I have made progress getting all the missing pieces together to get my PTH to drop more even with s D level of 164. I did learn what bad habit to overcome is drinking too much liquids when eating a meal. I already have absorption problems and have been losing too much weight past year. Now instead of flushing my nutrition down the toilet I’m getting more absorption which should help me metabolically. I’m sure I have insulin resistance going on too.
