For the record, this is still a very good number. I don't expect the spring game anywhere to draw well in 2026. They just don't have the same buzz they once did. I'd guess Nebraska's number will still be one of the best in the country for 2026.

Nebraska's announced Red-White spring game attendance is 27,188. It's the smallest spring game crowd since 2000 (22,415).

@SkersNews This is just a lazy take, we are set up perfectly to get back to greatness, absolutely no reason we shouldnt be a contender in the big ten or even national contender, we all have the facilities, money, and resources we could possibly need to have a championship caliber team

I think most fans understand where Nebraska falls in this new era of college football. The 90s aren't coming back. National championships aren't coming back. Probably even making the title game will never happen. I think what most fans would be happy with long term... -Beat teams that you should. - Always look like a competitive/competent team. Especially vs quality opponents -Be ranked most years. There is no reason Nebraska should be out of the top 25. -Beat ranked teams. At least 1 a year. - Make the playoffs at least once every4- 5 years. I don't think any of that is unreasonable given the resources and money we have. Do you? Would you add anything?

I agree. Been a husker fan for 30 years. I have never seen the level of enthusiasm this low. People just don't seem to care anymore. Maybe its that basketball is doing good and people are just focused on that right now? Its crazy
