People aren't understanding the growing separation between the stock market and the economy. Job cuts in the 1900s and early 2000's meant businesses were slowing down, becoming less profitable, and markets pulled back. Job cuts in 2025+ mean companies are saving on expenses. Finding ways to implement AI, hitting profit margins never seen before. One day, the amount of $$ someone has means nothing. The shares they own in trillion-dollar companies and Bitcoins. That will be true wealth. Today, someone with 30k invested in the right stock will be wealthier in 20 years than someone with $2 million in bonds.
