This is a stupid idea and completely pointless! Imagine a country, or even several countries, investing billions or tens of billions of dollars just to dig a canal as an alternative to the Strait of Hormuz and then what? The war ends, peace prevails, and then what would be the use of that canal? What would be the financial return? This is exactly why you need to complete your education!

Bello Matawalle is trending because the U.S. described him as an element compromising national security, and advised Tinubu to immediately remove him.
A new U.S. security report suggests jihadists are protected by high profile leadership and Matawalle is a red flag.
Due to his complicity with terrorists as governor of Zamfara state and harboring bandit leaders; also due to his lack of experience in security matters based on ground reports.
Therefore, U.S. lawmaker Kimberly Daniels advised his immediate removal or redeployment as Minister of State for Defence to restore the integrity of the Ministry.
